Hello, Splinters Fanatics!

Lately, it's been quite hard to win matches in the Morden mode , because most of the skilled players are there and also because the rewards are better. As a result, the player has to make a terrible effort to be able to play as an equal against these players. Sometimes I even think I'm playing in the format for bots, because of the perfection with which the opponent always scales his team 😅.

That's why I'm always trying to learn new strategies and analyzing the way my opponents play, so I can try to replicate them when the time comes. Today I'm going to share a battle that took place in the Morden Format (without bots 🤖) and which caught my attention. It seems that the opponent was reading my mind, or were we two bots playing? hehehe

In this battle there were only two Splinters available, Vida and Terra. And because of the rules set with Noxious Fumes and Lost Magic , the perfect Summoner for when there are no magic damage monsters on the field is CHANSEUS THE GREAT with its abilities: Repair , Triage and Resurrect .

Taking advantage of the armor repair ability is a great strategy, since there are no magic monsters; the ability to heal monsters in the rear is great for reducing the damage caused by Noxious Fumes and the Resurrect ability frees the resurrected monster from poisoning. This summoner is really perfect for this situation, so it was the choice of both players!

Tanks (First Position)

We both chose URIEL THE PURIFIER because of his huge amount of Health and Armor, and also because of his ability Heal . I consider this tank to be almost perfect, the only problem with it is that it doesn't attack every round due to its ability Recharge .

My Backline

To make my main tank and secondary tank (CORSAIR BOSUN) even more powerful, I decided to climb VENARI MARKSRAT, which has the ability Martyr , once killed it increases all the stats of the adjacent monsters. As it's a monster with lower health, it will certainly die first due to poisoning, but it will also be revived by our summoner, thus increasing the stats of our cards by 2X.

Enemy Backline

Any coincidence is merely a resemblance! Surely my opponent and I used private bots to have such a similar strategy! 😅

However, there are some changes in the cards chosen by the opponent. He has better alternatives and higher level cards. Our opponent used the same main and secondary tank, but VENARI MARKSRAT was placed next to RUNI and CORNEALUS. The point here is that even though RUNI has low health, he can be revived by his ability Rebirth and come back with (1) health with the advantage of no longer being poisoned.

I can already tell you that we won the match, even though our team has several lower-level cards and the opponent is using the powerful RUNI, which has a very good chance of winning in a team. However, the strategy of strengthening our main and secondary tanks proved to be very effective.

For a player who doesn't have a lot of financial resources, like me. These Soulbound Rewards cards are really strong and I'm loving being able to build a high-level deck with them. In this battle in particular, I used two of these cards, which helped me win the match, one by increasing stats as mentioned earlier and the other by nullifying armor.

This was an incredible battle, as it showed that only top-level cards don't win matches. Often a good strategy is enough to win a battle and that's the true meaning of Splinterlands.

Olá, Splinters Fanaticos!

Ultimamente, esta sendo bastante penoso conseguir vencer partidas no formato Mordem, pois a maiorias dos jogadores habilidosos está lá e também porque as recomensas são melhores. Dessa forma, o jogador tem que fazer um esforço terrível para conseguir jogar de igual para igual contra esses jogadores. As vezes até penso que estou jogando no formato para bots, pela perfeição que o adversário sempre escala seu time 😅.

Por isso, sempre estou tentando aprender novas estratégias e analisando a forma como meus adversários jogam, para tentar replicá-las, em momentos oportunos. Hoje irei compartilhar uma batalha que ocorreu no Formato Morden (sem bots 🤖) e que chamou minha atenção. Pois, parece que o oponente estava lendo minha mente, ou será que eramos dois bots jogando? hehehe

Nesta batalha haviam apenas dois Splinter disponíveis, Vida e Terra. E pelo conjunto de regras com Noxious Fumes e Lost Magic , o Invocador perfeito para quando não existe monstros de dano mágicos presente no campo é CHANSEUS THE GREAT com suas habilidades: Repair , Triage e Resurrect .

Aproveitar a habilidade de reparação de armadura é uma ótima estratégia, uma vez que não há monstros mágicos; A habilidade de curar monstros na retaguarda é ótima para diminuir os danos causos por Noxious Fumes e a habilidade Resurrect livra o monstro ressucitado do envenenamento. Este invocador é realmente perfeito para esta situação, por isso essa foi a escolha de ambos os jogadores!

Tanques (Primeira Posição)

Ambos escolhemos URIEL THE PURIFIER devido sua enorme quantidade de Saúde e Armadura, além disso pela sua habilidade Heal . Considero este tanque como quase perfeito, o único problema dele é que não atacar em todas as rodadas devido sua habilidade Recharge .

Minha Backline

Para deixar o meu tanque principal e o secundário (CORSAIR BOSUN) ainda mais poderoso resolvi escalar VENARI MARKSRAT, que possui a habilidade Martyr , depois de morto ela aumenta todas as estatisticas dos monstros adjancentes. Como é um monstro de menor saúde certamente é o que morrerá primeiro devido a envenenamento, como também será revivido pelo nosso invocador, assim aumentando em 2X os stats de nossas cartas.

Backline Inimiga

Qualquer conhecidência é mera semelhança! Certamente eu e meu oponente utilizamos bots particulares para ter uma estratégia tão semelhante! 😅

Porém, existem algumas mudanças na cartas escolhidas pelo adversário. Pois, ele possui alternativas melhores e cartas com nível mais alto. Nosso adversário utilizou mesmo tanque principal e secundário, porém VENARI MARKSRAT foi colocado ao lado do RUNI e CORNEALUS. A questão aqui é que o RUNI mesmo tendo pouca saúde ele pode ser revivido por sua habilidade Rebirth e voltar com (1) de saúde com a vantagem de não está mais envenenado.

Já adianto que vencemos a partida, mesmo nosso time tendo várias cartas de níveis inferiores e o adversário está usando o poderoso RUNI, que tem ótimas probabilidade de vitória em um time. Porém, a estratégia de fortalecer nossos tanques, principal e secundário, se provou bastante eficaz.

Para um jogador que não tem muito recursos financeiros, como eu. Essas cartas Rewards Soulbound são realmente muito forte e estou amando pode construir um baralho de alto níveil com elas. Nesta batalha, em particular, utilizei duas dessas cartas, que me ajudaram a vencer a partida, uma aumentando as estaticas como mencionado anterioremente e a outra anulando armaduras.

Esta foi uma batalha incrível, pois mostrou que somente cartas de nível máximo não vencem partidas . Muitas das vezes uma boa estratégia é suficiente para vencer uma batalha e esse é o verdadeiro sentido de Splinterlands.
