Early Career Collaboration
Lonely was released in 2011 and I pick this song as today music of the day because this song is a unique one from 2NE1. It's their only melancholic with a semi acoustic feel, no reggae and hiphop or electronic dance blends at all. Well some ballads part are into it too.
The song is about feeling of loneliness. Longing for someone which is an universal emotions that everyone can relate to.
Lipsing and Playback
The most thing I hate about KPOP performance is that all of them are dominated by lipsing. Once in the past I said this in other social media and I had to close down the account because I got raided by hundreds maybe thousands of KPOP diehard fans saying I was dumb, stupid, retard and some other vocabs describing that I could not differ lipsing and playback.
In KPOP live stages, idols sing along with pre-recorded backing tracks that include their own voices. This is playback, not lipsing, thats what those die hard fans educated me about the difference. Well until today those thing are the same for me, its lipsing. If you do not sing, just move your mouth, thats lipsing. period.
There are other reasonable reasons too why they do perform with playback but all are kind of stupid. Let's take two of the most often answers we get:
- Choreography. Singing live while executing complex dance moves can lowe the quality of the vocals. Lip-syncing or playback allows idols to focus on delivering a visually stunning performance without compromising on dance precision.
- Quality. Sound systems at live events can vary, leading to potential issues with audio quality and balance.
I just do not know young people nowadays... I come to live performance to see and hear the artist singing, not dancing with good recorded song... I guess thats one of the generation gap anyway.
PACKS OPENING
Everyday I encourage people to buy pack... yes buy packs and open them. The common question is which one is better, buying packs or buying cards directly from other players? Personally I prefer buying cards directly over buying packs. because it gives more precision on stats building. This leaves zero waste,for example sometime we get good cards from packs but we do not need those.
However recently I have decided I will keep buying packs and share my daily opening in this post because I believe buying packs give more benefit to the community.
- First it is somekind of starbits burning which hopefully might help starbits price to be more stable.
- Second with many new cards circulated, hopefully the card price will get stable too and this will help smaller players to grow.
