It's been two years since I joined the blockchain. Help me celebrate. Hooray!! 🎉 😁😁

Current Status 1,502 HP
My focus has been on increasing HP from the start. With daily power ups I've been able to accumulate an average of 750HP annually. If you are new here, you will probably ask, is it worth my time? Of course, that is a question that only the individual can answer. But for me, if the goal were only to earn hive then this would be a massive waste of time as hive values have consistently trended downwards in the two years I've been here. Fortunately, there is more to the blockchain than earning. There is also the aspect of learning.

Lessons Learned
You'll get alot of support when you start the journey but after a while you'll be almost on your own. In order to move forward sustainably with a positive outlook, you should probably attach yourself to communities you are genuinely interested in and try to be consistent in posting quality content.

Additionally, as we grow, we should probably support content that we are genuinely interested in as well.

But truth be told, life on the blockchain is not much different from life anywhere else. If you are here, your initial motivation may have been the possibility of earning while learning.

Since the main way of earning for a beginner is content creation, your goal is likely to be to create eye catching content for the highly visual audience here. Be careful not to lose yourself $$$ in the process. Aiming for an average of around 500 words to communicate your thoughts would be a good start. To add some visual appeal, some relevant original or appropriately referenced pictures would be beneficial as well.

Other Tips:

Keep your Keys in a Safe Place Offline

Average Values
The values displayed in your wallets may be averages and not necessarily the value at which you can actually sell your tokens.

Don't get stuck on any one thing. If something no longer serves the purpose for which it was intended or seizes to meet you expectations, depending on your level of commitment you can make efforts to change it for the better, or simply move on.
