Another cactus gave me a flower, the bad thing is that it only lives for one night.

Well, as I told you my garden is crazy and not because of the mess I have, but because of the amount of flowers that are filling with life and color my little space on the roof, so today let's see this beautiful flower that to be honest I have not been able to identify yet.

I already have enough time with this cactus and since I saw it I thought it would be of the cleistocactus type that is why I put it in this pot along with another cleistocactus, but I have realized that this cactus does not give shoots, it is only growing on its own, and it is not etiolation because I have it in direct sunlight all day.

This is how the other cactus in the pot is growing, and there is a big difference in the size and color of the spines, but there are also many similarities.

But let's go back to the flower, the truth is that it is huge and with an intense aroma, it reminded me of the perfume of the passionflower flower, although it is much more pleasant to smell than passionflower that aroma ends up making me sick of how strong it is, however this one was pleasant to me.

I tell you that the flower is huge, here I have it compared to my fist and as you can see it is a night flower, at sunset was when it began to open but due to work I couldn't take pictures until midnight.

A lot of perfume and a lot of pollen everywhere, now the problem is that I don't know if it is self-fertile or not, I don't even know the name because with the color of the flower it doesn't look like the cactus I had thought of and with all the work I have on top of me I haven't had time to dedicate to do more research.

It still has four more flower buds growing so the show will go on for a few days, or rather weeks because they grow very slowly.

As I say, the top of the cactus makes me think it is some cleistocactus, although at this point I am not entirely sure. I hope that in these days I will have the opportunity to rest a little more so I can dedicate myself to do some research about the cactus, see you soon.
