Sowing, transplanting and recycling

Yesterday was a day of planting and recycling. I collected several empty plastic water containers and cut them to a certain limit. Some I painted, others were just left natural, but in the end, they all had the same use, to plant my cacti and succulents.

I was missing some compost to make the transplant. Yesterday I bought it and that's how on Saturday I started my work in planting which is something I love to do.

All these containers were painted and stored in advance waiting for this day to start filling them with soil. Now they are covered with soil and I will start cutting branches of my cacti and succulents to make the transplant.

The containers in addition to the cut need to have holes in the bottom to drain the water that I put in my plants. These holes are made with this small electric drill and there are the small holes in my improvised and recycled pots.

With these branches that I cut from the mother cacti and succulents, I have enough for the planting that I have to do today.

In this small pot, I have placed the leaves and some branches left over from the process. I re-did the soil and now these plants will have some time to wait until they grow roots and are transplanted. In the meantime, I must wait for another time and have more recycled pots to plant.

Here they are after two hours of pleasant work I have my beautiful plants planted in my recycled pots and others in clay pots that had no plants in them.

These plants will be placed in my nursery for sale but before that, they must wait some time for the roots to come out and cling to the soil and the customer will get a plant that will not die if he follows the recommendations I will give him.
