Desde mis años de adolescencia me quise teñir el cabello, antes quería hacerlo de Azul pero en mi colegio no me lo permitían, cuando me gradué lo intenté pero con Azul de Metileno, lo cuál se cayó después de la primera lavada.
Un color que siempre me encantó y moría por probar era el Borgoña pero, debo admitir, que le tenía un poco de miedo a los tintes con tonos rojos o cobrizos debido a que cuando se destiñen van tomando una tonalidad naranja que no me gusta nada.
Since my teenage years I wanted to dye my hair, before I wanted to dye it Blue but my school didn't allow it, when I graduated I tried it but with Methylene Blue, which fell out after the first wash.
A color that I always loved and was dying to try was Burgundy but, I must admit, I was a little afraid of dyes with red or copper tones because when they fade they take on an orange tone that I don't like at all.
De todas las cosas que quería hacer al graduarme y cumplir la mayoría de edad, solo me faltaba pintarme el cabello pero como eso es un gasto constante, lo dejé pasar hasta que la última semana de Diciembre, fui a casa de mi mejor amiga a hacerme las pestañas y durante el proceso estábamos conversando de cambios físicos y cortes de cabello.
Yo le comenté que siempre me había querido teñir el cabello de Borgoña a lo que ella me respondió que también quería hacerlo de ese mismo color, sin pensarlo mucho decidimos hacerlo juntas, al día siguiente fui a Farmatodo a comprar el tinte para las dos del mismo color; yo sabía que no nos iba a quedar del mismo tono debido a que su cabello es mucho más oscuro que el mío y, además, mi cabello era totalmente virgen.
Of all the things I wanted to do when I graduated and came of age, I only needed to paint my hair but since that is a constant expense, I let it go until the last week of December, I went to my best friend's house to get my eyelashes done and during the process we were talking about physical changes and haircuts.
I told her that I had always wanted to dye my hair in Burgundy and she replied that she also wanted to do it in the same color, without thinking too much we decided to do it together, the next day I went to Farmatodo to buy the dye for both of us in the same color; I knew that we were not going to have the same shade because her hair is much darker than mine and, besides, my hair was totally virgin.
Como su mamá sabe teñir el cabello debido a los muchos años que tienen haciéndoselo a sí misma, preferimos que ella nos pintara el caballo a tener que pagar un salón; nos pintamos el cabello el 29 de Diciembre, todo fue muy apresurado y a último momento porque fue una decisión impulsiva de la cuál no me arrepiento en lo absoluto.
La experiencia fue muy interesante, no sabía que necesitaría casi dos frascos de tinte para poder teñir todo mi cabello; después de lavarlo como secarlo, pude ver el color final y no puedo estar más feliz con los resultados, de verdad amé demasiado como me quedó el cabello, el tono es exacto al que quería y lo mejor de todo es que mi cabello no se maltrató durante el proceso.
As her mom knows how to dye hair due to the many years they have been doing it themselves, we preferred her to dye our horse than having to pay a salon; we dyed our hair on December 29th, everything was very rushed and last minute because it was an impulsive decision which I don't regret at all.
The experience was very interesting, I didn't know that I would need almost two bottles of dye to dye all my hair; after washing and drying it, I could see the final color and I couldn't be happier with the results, I really loved the way my hair looked, the tone is exactly what I wanted and the best of all is that my hair didn't get damaged during the process.
Admito que ignoro muchas cosas porque es la primera vez que tiño mi cabello pero ya estoy aprendiendo poco a poco a cómo cuidarlo, cómo mantener el color y lo importante de comprar una buena marca de tintes; me asusté un poco cuando lo lavé la segunda vez porque aún seguía desprendiendo color pero cuando lo sequé, el cabello obtuvo un color más rojizo y me enamoré mucho más, me siento como La Sirenita.
Sin dudas este es uno de los momentos "Medias de Abejita" que he tenido en mi vida, me encanta poder cumplir sueños de mi yo niña o adolescente porque esa es una de mis metas de vida, hacerme feliz a mí misma con cosas que desde pequeña he querido hacer y antes no podía.
I admit that I ignore many things because it is the first time I dye my hair but I am learning little by little how to take care of it, how to maintain the color and the importance of buying a good brand of dyes; I was a little scared when I washed it the second time because it was still shedding color but when I dried it, the hair got a more reddish color and I fell in love much more, I feel like The Little Mermaid.
Undoubtedly this is one of the "Bee Stockings" moments I have had in my life, I love being able to fulfill dreams of my child or teenage self because that is one of my life goals, to make myself happy with things that I have wanted to do since I was a little girl and I couldn't before.
Estoy muy feliz con este cambio de look, me ha traído mucha seguridad en mí misma y se nota bastante, me siento mucho más bonita y atractiva; dudo cambiar de color pronto, creo que esta será una nueva etapa en mi vida como fue los incontables cortes de cabello que me he hecho a lo largo de mi vida.

I am very happy with this change of look, it has brought me a lot of self-confidence and it is quite noticeable, I feel much more beautiful and attractive; I doubt to change color soon, I think this will be a new stage in my life as it was the countless haircuts I've done throughout my life.
