“I believe in the God of Spinoza ... “ - Albert Einstein

I grew up in a very Catholic Tradition... Italian, French Canadian and Metis (indigenous Ojibwe) ... so I always had a bit of Pantheism in my DNA.... the notion that God (Spirit) is everywhere and everything ... there is nothing but God... whatever that is. Gitche Manitou... The Great Spirit. Or the Great Mystery ....

This does blend perfectly with the more mystical Catholic Tradition of people like Meister Eckart ... where God is infinite and therefore everything.

The more I searched about this mystical Tradition I learned that even Jesus was teaching this ... the Kingdom of God is within You (Luke 17:21) and “don’t you know that your yourself are the Temple and that God dwells within you ?

I stumbled upon the Gospel of Thomas which could very likely be the first record of Jesus teachings.... the idea that God is within you and without you... everywhere.

God is the Infinite Universe, and you are One with this Universe (God) ... it is all that exists.

Death is a momentary blip. Everything has always existed. Enjoy ....

We feel and know we are Eternal says Spinoza....

Which brings me to the Quote by Albert Einstein.... what is the God of Spinoza that the greatest Genius of our Time believed in ?

Spinoza says There is nothing except God... Everything is God.

This is the Wisdom of the great Mystics.

They don’t teach this in School but eventually everyone comes to this realization.

The Scientists know this also .... the most Astounding Fact of our Universe :
