To contribute to the question: What does the Bible say regarding people’s fear in the time of global economic turmoil? (Part 1 of 2)

I want to say that economic turmoil should not be a surprise to Christians, because we can see it in Bible days. What led the children of Israel into captivity in Egypt was economic turmoil.

We can equally see it in the time of Isaac. However, Isaac prospered in that land because God was with him. So instead of us being afraid, we should pray to God for help.
Genesis 26:12;

Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him.
