Important points I learnt from God's word discussed.
Prayer by kneeling down shows intense respect for God.
Do not pray repetitively.
Repetitive prayer is prohibited by God.
Boastful prayer is not heard.
Mattew 6:5 talks about not praying opening to show off to people. Prayer is a private matter between us and God. God doesn't like the hypocrite.
Act 20:26 talks about us kneeling down when praying to God.
The word kneel down denote an upright and passive or horizontal posture. It means you've folded your knees. You should be in a horizontal posture and your face is down.
Mattew 26:39 talks about us kneeling down and falling our faces when praying.
Kneeling down is an act of discipline or worshipping God. It means to bow down. To kneel is the synonymous to bow down. Kneeling down can be down in the room and not outside. The bible was written in Greek and Hebrews. The apostles knelt down when praying. Kneeling down is the most respectful prayer to God. Praying to God has statutes and discipline.
If a woman is praying she should cover her head. A man shouldn't cover his head when praying. As a woman if you have no covering on your head, you're disrespecting God. The head of Christ is God. The head if every man is Christ. The head of a woman is the man. Women covering their head is a symbol if submission. The woman is the glory of the man.
1 Corinthians 11:7 talks about for a woman to pray she should have a covering over her head. A man shouldn't cover his head while praying.
The following were my old beliefs or expectations that were improved by listening.
- I believed before that a woman shouldn't cover her hair when praying.
- I believed before that I shouldn't kneel down to pray.
How teaching affects me as a better person.

- That I shouldn't pray repetitively.
- A woman should cover her head when praying.
