Those who worship idols will be like unto their idols who have ears but cannot hear and eyes but cannot see. We should not trust in man-made gods. They are lifeless. The people who trust in such gods are unto their idols.
Everyone supposed to worship only the God of heaven. He is the only true God. He is not like unto anything. Our God has no resemblance to anything, that’s what the Bible says. Therefore when worshiping God, we should worship Him in truth. We should serve God alone. We are not to put our trust in any other God apart from our heavenly Father.
Acts 17:29 (KJV) Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
2 Corinthians 4:4 (KJV) In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
The people who trust in idols are blinded by their idols. They have eyes which cannot see. They are blind. When we follow God, He will open our eyes to see the truth in His Word.
