It was a great time in the presence of God as I was privileged to participate in the MCGI Cares live event held via zoom. The program organized by the MCGI Cares team was to encourage us to always be good to all,we should not hesitate to help the poor and the needy
Important lesson learned from the teaching
Bible verses: Matthew 5:42,6:12 28:19-20, Ephesians 4:4-5, 1John 2:21, Colossians 1:18, 6:9, Deuteronomy 30:19.
The word of God is the truth and believers are all expected to believe it.
Let our lives as s believer be a representation of Christ. Most of us tend to deny Christ through our actions and lifestyle, they don't act according to what is in the scripture, which is the word of God that is the truth.
Christ has commanded all churches and congregation to preach the gospel to all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and of the Holy Spirit, which is the Trinity. God operates in three dimensions which is called the Trinity, therefore if you are to carry out baptism it must be in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
We are one body and one spirit in Christ, and he who want to be part of the body of Christ must give himself to baptism first. Jesus Christ lead the example of baptism and we must follow it.
Christians should learn how to forgive. We should not hesitate to forgive our brethren or neighbors who have wronged us i anyway, and also if a brethren is owing us and could not pay let us forgive and forget about the debt. If God will always forgive us our sins then why shouldn't we forgive our neighbors when they wrong us. Forgive and forget, let go of all grudges in your heart.
We were encourage to always do good to our fellow men. We should not hesitate to help the poor and needy when God blesses us, because he who gives to the poor, also gives to the lord and he will reward us all. God help us all as we live according to his will.
