Summary of what i learnt.
Romans 10:17 (NIV)
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. We should learn to maintain a good conscience and we shouldn't do anything out of faith. We should avoid anything that will hinder our faith in God because once or conscience is corrupted, we can't stay in faith. We should learnt to stay away from idols, idols worshippers and their offerings so that our faith in God won't be defiled by them and its should always be at our heart as a reminder, so that we will not fall prey into the hands of our enemy the devil. We should learn to do the good works that God asked us to do. The devil's strategy is old so we should not be pulled by the devil's tricks. In as much as we love love food, we stay away from food that is offered to idols so as not to corrupt our good conscience. So that we will not be carried away by it. The bible said we should flee away from evil so we won't be defiled because evil companionship corrupts good manners.
Bro. Daniel talked about those who are separated from their leaders, we are not to be separated from our leaders so we won't be lost. If we reject the person God has chosen to lead us, it means we are also rejecting God. Ephesians 4:11-12
NIV:So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up. Bro. Daniel was chosen by Bro. Eli, so rejecting Bro. Daniel is to reject Bro. Eli as well. There are those who doesn't receive their leaders as the Bible made us understand.
3 John 1:9-10 (NIV)
I wrote to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves to be first, will not welcome us.
So when I come, I will call attention to what he is doing, spreading malicious nonsense about us. Not satisfied with that, he even refuses to welcome other believers. He also stops those who want to do so and puts them out of the church.
We already know there would be those who won't accept their leaders, we shouldn't be caught unawares. If we are loyal to God, we should learn to stick to whoever God has chosen for us. We need to be up and doing for there's a battle ahead of us that we must fight, for devil we use anything to lure us these may include food, like the way he deceived Eve. So we should be aware, that the race is not to the swift, not the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all." Thank you.
