Greetings brethren,
We thank God for giving us another opportunity to study His word. After today's Mass Indoctrination service, I have learnt a lot from today's teaching and I will like to share some for all of us.
THE OBLIGATION OF THE BRETHREN IN THE CHURCH OF GOD.
We should show the light to those in darkness.
How do we let our light shine so others can emulate our light? By doing good to others and caring for them. This can bring those darkness into the light.
This is our responsibility.
Philippians 2:15
That ye may beblameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world
By showing good conduct, even those who speak evil against us will come to glorify God.
- 1peter 2:12
Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
Be light in the world so that men will know that there is a true God. Let us do good to the brethren and others so that they will see our good works and glorify God.
Our obligation in the church is to do good to mankind.
- In the church it's allowed to expell those evil ones amongst the brethren.
1corinthians 5:11
But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
Titus 3:10
A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;
If we find someone doing evil in the church, the person can be corrected first and second time to repent. But if the person refuses, then it is allowed to expell that person.
The results of doing good to all men.
If you are righteous you will be able to win souls for God.
Proverbs 11:30
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.God will be delighted if one dinner repents.
Luke 15:7
I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.You will save a soul.
James 5:19-20
19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.God will be pleased with us.
But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.God will multiply the members.
Jeremiah 30:19
And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.
The members of the true church multiple because of their good works.
The church of God is the true church that will preach from the East to the west.
Malachi 1:11
For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.
Zachariah 8:7
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country;
The salvation of God in the end time will start from the East to the west.
The church of God started preaching from the East and now in the west.
Our obligation in the church is to do good to all men so that they will see our light and glorify God and be converted into the church.
