Are we financially responsible to other people?

1 John 3:17 makes use know that we have an obligation as Christians to people who we do not owe anything, but we owe our lives to God. It is our God, the maker who gives us this obligation to be reaching to the poor, those in need, etc.
But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? source
We serve as the hands of God on earth while He dwells in heaven. In the church of the Bible no one dieS of hunger. Just as it is practiced by Bro Eli’s team (MCGIcare), no one dies casually, because they are attended to either by doctor, welfare team, or necessary professional team. None of the members beg for alms on the street because Bro. Eli’s team practices what God instructs. They believe it Sd their obligation to financially and spiritually support every brother in faith.
Christianity should be a religion where one confidently says he cannot die of hunger, because everyone is his brother’s keeper. More so, it is part of our obligation as Christians to look into the welfare of our brethren. Bro. Eli shared the growth of the MCGIcare team – facilities for health, places for teaching people the gospel, then other sectors that deals with people's welfare - meeting the needs of believers who cannot help themselves. The MCGIcare team does this because it is part of the doctrine of Jesus Christ, and it is something other religious organization should emulate.
From Psalm 37:21, Bro Eli makes us understand that our financial obligation is not limited to those we owe; scripturally we are not meant to owe anyone anything, this can also be seen in Romans 13:7-8. Bro Eli shared that one can borrow but shouldn’t owe permanently.
Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. Romans 13:7-8
If we borrow, we pay else we are wicked according to Psalms 37:21; in place of owing, we need to love one another.
