Before we are thankful for all the blessings we have through Jesus Christ, everything He has done for us far outweighs all the difficulties that come our way.
Sing to God for joy, all the earth.
2 Serve the Lord with gladness;
Come before His presence with joy.
3 Know that the Lord is God;
He made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people, the sheep of His pasture.
4 Enter His gates with thanksgiving,
Into His courts with thanksgiving;
Give Him thanks, bless His name.

Psalm 100
It is easy to be thankful in times of abundance or blessing but when everything is not going as well or it is not as easy as we expect, expressing gratitude can be quite difficult and this is what we must learn.
18 Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
1 Thessalonians 5:18
It is important that we understand that the person who wrote this previous text indicating that we should be thankful at all times was the apostle Paul who was loyal to Christ and this led him to different very difficult situations such as constant persecution, imprisonment and many very complex situations. Perhaps we put ourselves in his place for a moment and ask ourselves, how can he be thankful with all the situations he is experiencing? Paul was aware and certain that in Christ he had abundant riches and that these can considerably outweigh any evil.
We do everything that the apostle Paul valued greatly, all of that is at our disposal today so that we can enjoy it in the same way, the first step is to relate to God the Father and the next is to know that God loves us with eternal love, with unconditional love, after this we must have that security in knowing that Jesus Christ died for us, for all our sins so that we live an eternity with him, and here on earth we are preparing for it, these difficulties are part of our growth.
30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
Ephesians 4:30
The blessings are endless God receives us as his children and promises to satisfy through his resources everything we need by providing his word that encourages us and fills us with faith and his Holy Spirit that guides us and reveals to us everything we need.
19 My God will supply all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
Is there any doubt that God is there to bless us at all times? Now we understand why Paul, despite all the difficulties he had gone through, was constantly grateful. God gives us that same privilege.

Antes que estemos agradecidos por todas las bendiciones que tenemos por medio de Jesucristo, todo lo que él ha hecho por nosotros supera abundantemente todas las dificultades que se presentan en nuestras vidas.
Cantad alegres a Dios, habitantes de toda la tierra.
2 Servid a Jehová con alegría;
Venid ante su presencia con regocijo.
3 Reconoced que Jehová es Dios;
Él nos hizo, y no nosotros a nosotros mismos;
Pueblo suyo somos, y ovejas de su prado.

Es sencillo estar agradecidos en los momentos de abundancia o de bendición pero cuando todo no va tan bien o no es tan fácil como esperamos expresar gratitud puede ser bastante difícil y esto es lo que debemos aprender.
18 Dad gracias en todo, porque esta es la voluntad de Dios para con vosotros en Cristo Jesús.
1 Tesalonicenses 5:18
Es importante que entendamos que quien escribió este texto anterior que indica que debemos ser agradecidos en todo momento fue el apóstol Pablo quien fue leal a Cristo y esto lo llevó a diferentes situaciones muy difíciles como una constante persecución, encarcelamiento y muchas situaciones demasiado complejas. Quizás nos ponemos por un momento en su lugar y nos preguntemos ¿cómo puede estar agradecido con todas las situaciones que está viviendo? Pablo era consciente y tenía certeza de qué en Cristo tenía abundantes riquezas y que estas pueden superar considerablemente a cualquier mal.
Hacemos en todo aquello que el apóstol Pablo valoraba grandemente, todo eso hoy está a nuestra disposición para que nosotros disfrutemos de la misma manera, el primer paso es relacionarnos con el Dios padre y el siguiente es saber que Dios nos ama con amor eterno, con amor incondicional, después de esto debemos tener esa seguridad en saber que Jesucristo murió por nosotros, por todos nuestros pecados para que vivamos una eternidad junto a él, y aquí en la tierra nos estamos preparando para ello, estas dificultades son parte de nuestro crecimiento.
30 Y no contristéis al Espíritu Santo de Dios, con el cual fuisteis sellados para el día de la redención.
Efesios 4:30
Las bendiciones son interminables Dios nos recibe como sus hijos y promete satisfacer por medio de sus recursos todo lo que necesitamos proveyendo de su palabra que nos alienta y nos llena de fe y su espíritu Santo que nos guía y nos revela todo lo que necesitamos.
19 Mi Dios, pues, suplirá todo lo que os falta conforme a sus riquezas en gloria en Cristo Jesús.
Filipenses 4:19
¿Acaso queda alguna duda en que Dios está para bendecirnos en todo momento?. Ahora entendemos porque Pablo aún con todas las dificultades que había atravesado era un agradecido constante, Dios nos da ese mismo privilegio.
