Good morning everyone on this day the 17th of April, 2021 i would like to give my response to the question above.
The best way to teach our children about the church, is teaching them about our Lord Jesus Christ, since Christ is the head of the church. ( Ephe 5:23-kjv: "For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body"). So practically, teaching them about Christ will pave the way for teaching them about the church, and the right doctrine, in accordance with the Bible.
"So How do we teach them about Christ" ?
First we must try to open their mind to the things of God and help them believe in salvation. Bring them to repentance. (Acts 26:18-kjv: "To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me", (Eccle 12:1-kjv: "Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them").
I believe this is the first and most important step to be taken in teaching children about the church.
