Greetings to you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ it's yet another opportunity to be a witness of the great work of God going on in the true church of God international Mcgi care I will be sharing with us what I learnt in today's charity work.
- the most important lesson thought here is love and having compassion for our fellow men.
1 Corinthians 13 : 3
I learnt in this verse that one of the most important thing to do is to show love to the poor and those in need this bible is teaching us that Christ Jesus has bestowed all his goods to feed the poor even his body.
This verse says and though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor and though I give my body to be burned and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
Matthew 22 : 37
This bible verse is teaching us that one of the commandment of God is for us to love the Lord our God with all our heart and with all our might and with all our strength in so doing we will also have the fear of God and do what is right by helping the needy showing love to our fellow men just like what was show to us in today's teaching that is a perfect example of love been praticalised by giving.
Matthew 22 : 38
In this verse I understand that love Is the first and great commandment commanded by God and as believers in the true church of God we must obey this commandment of we have the fear if God in our heart this verse says
This is the first and great commandment.
1 John 5 : 3
In this verse I learnt that when we keep the commandment of God it pleases him and he is happy with us so it is very important to keep the commandment of God this verse says for this is the love of God that we keep his commandment and his commandment are not grievous.
