Tabla Solo 3

I really love the Tabla and am always fascinated the way it is played.
Let me tell you a beautiful fact. Tabla is the only multi timbral percussion instrument
in the whole world. It's got two notes SA and RE (DO and RE).

As you see I'm playing two instruments in this video which genreally
is the same for every one. The bass drum in this set is called a "BAYAN"
(Left) or a "DAGGA". I'm a left handed tabla player and this "bayan" comes on my right
side but thasssss okhaay we all know this world is
a right handed dominated world!! Hmmmm US lefty peeps are the
few chosen super amazing ones ;) shoutout to
all the LEFT HANDER AMAAZING PEOPLE!! WOOT WOOT...

ok, coming back to the "DAGGA" This is for the lows and as you can hear it's like a bass guitar.
I love the sound of this drum and the amazing low frequency is produces.
The other instrument is called Tabla and this Tabla is tuned to Ab note.
So this tabla gives me Ab and Bb notes.

I'll keep talking more and giving more insights on this beautiful instrument as and when
I keep uploading tabla solos.

The way I've started the solo is this has a very lovely thought. You can
hear a specific buzz in the first few notes and it's got it's own tempo. The moment
I heard it on the first note I hear the tempo and decided to build on that tempo.

For me playing music is a very spiritual and godly feeling! I'd say I get lost every
time I touch an instrument and it takes me to another trance. I'm just a medium.
Adios for for now amigos.
