Today we are observing world brain tumor day, 8 June.

Hello friends, how are you all, I hope you are fine, healthy and enjoying your day. In today's video I am going to talk about World Brain Tumor Day which is celebrated every year on 8th June all over the world. The purpose behind celebrating this day is to educate and explain people about brain tumour. Brain is the most important part of our body without brain we cannot do any work and we will not survive. Brain tumor is a brain related disease in which cells start growing in an irregular manner and form a group by filling the empty spaces of the brain. Due to which a person becomes in a state of headache and coma and after some time he dies. In 2000, it was first observed by a Leipzig-based non-profit organization, the German Brain Tumor Association. It is not mentioned in any of the books of old times, but still many people have mentioned some disease of the brain. Thinkers like Socrates, Celsus, Galen, and Hippocrates mention instructions in their treatises regarding trepanation to alleviate intracranial pressure while they do not mention brain tumors in their works. However, as science developed, through X-ray MR scanner CT scanner, this disease was easily caught and to some extent there was a lot of success in its treatment.

Thank you ☺️.
