Here it is a general saying in Hindi 'kuen ka mendhak' means (a frog in the well) this term generally used for someone who behave like a very limited entity taking pride of the world around him/her. Just like the frog in a well who never got out of the well to see the vast world outside and so the frog thinks that the well is the whole world and there is nothing more.

I believe there is much more outside which I never seen, I have never known, never felt, never experienced, that's why I love to know about the other cultures and their beautiful traditions.
Basically I don't want to be the frog in the well. I know there is much more to see to feel and to experience and to be grateful for. 😊

Now coming to the prompt by @selfhelp4trolls with eight cross culture questions. I am going to reply 😊

1 What is something that you learned about the world from being on Hive?

I learned a lot of new things about this world. I got to see many beautiful places in and out of my country, foods, cultures and traditions. But the most important thing to be mentioned here is that I learnt about crypto only after joining Hive.

2 What is something that you learned about yourself from being on Hive?

Being on hive, I came to know that I can write and also that my photography too is not that bad 😃 haha

3 What are the cultural demographics of your hive relationships?

As I joined hive only on 2nd August 2020 so my friend list is not that long. If out of those few that I follow (and i like) i have to calculate the percentage then 50% of them are Indians, 30% Nigerians, small percentages of Pakistani, Polish and Indonesian friends.

4 What are the other demographics of your close relationships at Hive?

My friend @kemmyb is a writer, I love her fictional writing most. She is the best person I have found on Hive till date. She is helpful and supportive to everyone on the blockchain. She made me learn a few things about posting good content. Always grateful to find her as she always encourages me to improve myself with her nice comments on my posts. She is a friend as well as a mentor and motivator 😄

@bhattg a person who is a 'pahadi' (belonging to hilly areas 😄) the person who supports new comers in all the way he can. He curates for @indiaunited , always curating good content. He is the one who supported me in my starting times and so he motivated me to stay here 😄 and that's why I respect him a lot.

@katiefreespirit a person always giving me virtual tours of beautiful places, and the delicious dishes. Everyday she adds something new to my knowledge. 😄

@okluvmee only person whom I knew before joining hive, actually he is the one who told me about hive. He a fan of gym and shopping new things 😄😄

@ayesha-malik a friend from the opposite side of border 😃, a very good writer (with good sense of humor 😄) and a sincere person., and I feel she is a book worm too 😄😄

@esther-emmanuel though i dont know her much, but with the few comments we have exchanged till now I think we are going to be good friends 😄

5 Which friend from Hive has taught you the most about another culture?

I will say @ayesha-malik , though our cultures are same in many aspects. But still a little differences are there. Second person is @kemmyb reading her writings I get to know a few things about her culture. As I feel a small part of culture is always reflected in the writings of a person.

6 How did you find your favorite people at Hive?

My most favorite is @kemmyb and it was she who found me 😄 through engaging with comments ( for the first time she appeared before me, when I shared a receipe of veg sandwiches and she put some queries related to it. I replied and then it all started)
Some of the friends I found while participating in various contests.

7 Have you had any confusion, difficulty or surprise when talking to someone from another culture on Hive?

No I never had any confusion of that kind, yes there are surprises at times when things are totally different between two cultures. Sometimes surprises arises on the similarity too. For example here in my native language We call mother with the word ''maa'' i was very surprised when in one of her writings kemmyb used this same word for mother. That was a pleasant surprise actually. 😊

8 What community would you like to see grow at Hive?

There is no particular community, I want people from all communities join Hive, knowing and supporting each other, and exchanging smiles and making this world a better place to live.
