Welcome to my blog again. I am glad you are here. Today i would like to share the recipe of meetha paratha ( sweet partha) made by sugar or jaggery which is all-time my favourite since my childhood.

Did you eat sweet paratha in your childhood? If yes then my blog will refresh your childhood memories. I also loved sweet partha made by my mother in my childhood. This is a recipe that fulfills sweet cravings and is also healthy. If made from jaggery, it is absolutely healthy.

The special thing about this paratha is that it tastes good hot as well as cold. So you can put it in such a child's tiffin also. Suitable for picnic and also for travelling. This paratha is made by wheat flour, sugar/jaggery and oil.

INGREDIENTS โœ…

  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Water 1 cup
  • Wheat flour 2 cup
  • Salt one pinch
  • Few Green fennel seeds
  • Oil

PROCESS โœ…

Step 1 :

First take the sugar and soak it in the water for 2-3 hours. So sugar dissolves well in the water.

Step 2 :

Now take a wheat flour and knead a dough using this sweeet sugar or jaggery water. You can also add little salt and fennel seeds.

Knead a normal dough. Not so soft not hard. Cover the dough and rest for 20 minutes.

Step 3 :

Now make equal size balls from that dough. First knead the dough again and make it soft and make the balls.

Dust the flour and make the roti using rolling pin. After flatten the ball place it on the hot tawa.

Step 4 :

Now apply the oil on that paratha and cook it well from the both side like this.

Repeat that process with all partha and make it.

Tip :

You can also use ghee or butter. But to keep the paratha soft for a long time, oil is good. That's why i using oil to make that sweet paratha and also for dal Paratha.



You can enjoy it with sangri sabji, aloo bhaji , chutney or pickle.
