Healthy & delicious Cabbage cutlets recipe

Cabbage is a good source of vitamins , irons and rich in antioxidants. This is a healthy green vegetable, Which consumption is beneficial for health. When healthy vegetables are eaten in different ways then we do not get bored of eating them . So, this time I tried cabbage cutlets for the first time.

Cabbage cutlets or patties is a quick snack or breakfast recipe which is crispy from outside and soft from inside. It is made by cabbage, some other vaggies, semolina and herbs. We can shallow fry or air fry it to make more healthy. Even you can make small pancakes with this stuffing.

This is my entry for #hivetopchef by @qurator. This week theme is cabbage and let's enjoy the cutlets made by cabbage as a main ingredient .



INGREDIENTS ✅

  • Cabbage 2 cup
  • Carrot 1/2 cup
  • Green chilli 2
  • Garlic 3-4 cloves
  • Coriander 4 tbsp
  • Semolina 3/4 cup
  • Rice flour 1-2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
  • Chaat masala 1 tsp
  • Oil



PROCESS ✅

STEP 1 :

First collect all Veggies, you can add some more veggies according to your choice. Than finely chopped the veggies or you can chopped in the chopper.

I used chopper and chopped all veggies like this.

STEP 2 :

Now add semolina, all herbs, mix all things properly and leave it for 15-20 minutes. So that veggies and salt leave their water and semolina soaked it. Also add rice flour to make it crispy.

After 15-20 minutes , mix again properly , now can see their is enough water in the mixture for binding. You make tikki, cutlets from the mixture like this.

Put all tikkies in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, this is not compulsory, but if you are going to fry them for some time later , than this is more good to put them in refrigerator.

STEP 3 :

Now take a fry pan, heat the oil and fry all cutlets from the both side till it turns golden brown.

You can shallow fry or air fry to make them more healthy. Serve it with green chutney and enjoy healthy and delicious cutlets with your loved ones 😌.
