Chocolate cake

My vegan version of chocolate cake.

Making chocolate cake is much more fun each time. I think it is not so hard to make chocolate cake. Today's recipe for @qurator's cooking contest hive -chef but I am not sure my cake is competitive to be in a contest. I was working after work I made it in hurry. Took 1/2 hour for preparation and 1/2 hour for baking. I will see if it will.

1/2 cup white flour
1/4 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup oil
2 tbsp white sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 tsp baking powder mine is a little old I used 1 tsp
1/2 cup cocoa
1 tsp instant coffee
1/4 tsp salt.
1 tsp lemon juice

Step 1:
Mixing all dry ingredients
Brown sugar, white sugar, cocoa, flour, and baking powder mix together Shift it using a strainer and keep aside.

step 2:
Making cream from oatmeal
Adding boiled water, oil, and salt blend it until get smooth.

step 3:
making a liquid mixture.

2 tbsp of oatmeal cream
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup oil
1 tsp lemon juice
mix all together using a whisk.
Add 1/2 cup boiling water to the mixture.

Step 4:
Mix dry ingredients and wet ingredients together very lightly do not over-mix.
prepare cake form with lining baking paper.

Step 5:
Final mixture and baking.

Pour the mixture into cake form and bake it in preheated oven for 30 minutes at 180c. checked with the pin test if the pin comes out clean the cake is ready.
The cake has a few cracks but after using glaze it will disappear. Let it cool down.

Step 6:
Making the glaze

In a pan warm 2 tbsp water add 1 tsp instant coffee 2 tsp cocoa powder, 1 tsp sugar, and 1 tsp coconut oil cook until all ingredients mix together.

Step 7:
finalize cake.
Pure that mixture on the top of the cake.


Step 8:
Eat the cake
Just made some lines with chocolate. Sprinkle powdered sugar on it. and enjoy eating it. It is delicious, soft, and tasty.
