I have arrived here happy to have finished another saga. Although in this opportunity it was a bilogy, conformed by Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo. I must tell you, after reading this, I realized that Shadow and Bone really is a pretty weak saga, but I understand why the saga has such a huge fandom and why the TV show became so popular.

In the release of this Six of Crows Bilogy, I introduced you to the entire troop that made up the crows and what they were going to accomplish. In this book, they are all wanted by multiple groups, dead or alive, so everything they execute is done in the dark and on the fringes of ghoulish things. Everyone wants to find their whereabouts and will be up for anything, which makes the book completely packed with enough action to make it entertaining.

Antes de decir cualquier cosa acerca de esta maravillosa lectura, deben saber que cualquier cosa que diga podrá ser un Spoiler porque se trata de la reseña de la continuación del libro anterior.En la publicación de esta Bilogía de Six of Crows, les presenté a toda la tropa que conformaban los cuervos y lo que iban a realizar. En este libro, todos son buscados por múltiples grupos, vivos o muertos, así que todo lo que ejecutan lo hacen en la oscuridad y al margen de cosas macabras. What makes this book incredible is that the development of each character is deeper than in the first one. Although the nature of the characters was already evident, here we see the deep sides of each one, and we begin to know the reasons why each one does what they do. It's not hard to fall in love with the characters despite each of the crimes they commit: murder, robbery, kidnapping, swindling, trespassing, and for you to count the number of things they do. I still love them.
Driven by duty and love, Kaz must rescue Nina from the hands of Van Eck, who kidnapped her once the entire group returned from the ice court. Not only must they rescue the wraith, but they have an obligation to collect the debt for committing the court assault. He must land several blows before he can do so, but knowing Kaz's mastermind, we know these blows will be incredible. So the author played with this, to make the plot an unrepeatable story full of wonderful plot twists. Because as we know that Kaz always gives good punches, it wouldn't be an amazing book if he always succeeded in all his plans.
Kaz thinks only of taking revenge on Van Eck and Pekka Rollins. Inej wants to escape alive and return home aboard his own ship. Jasper has an unexpected visit from someone very close to him. Wylan is still struggling with his past and doing everything he can to feel that his life is worth living. Matthias learned to open up, and is inseparable with Nina. And Nina, supposed to have lost her Grishas powers, but they really changed for more macabre and incredible ones, just as she herself is.
We also see again familiar characters who make a Crossover from Shadow and Bone that made me clarify who is my favorite character of all the Grishaverse, but clearly I won't say it.

No es difícil enamorarse de los personajes a pesar de cada uno de los crímenes que cometen: asesinato, robo, secuestro, estafa, invasión de propiedad, y para usted de contar la cantidad de cosas que hacen. Igual los amo.Impulsado por el deber y el amor, Kaz debe rescatar a Nina de las manos de Van Eck, quien la secuestró una vez que todo el grupo regresó de la corte de hielo. These Dark Fantasy books have been, for me, one of the great discoveries of this year. The great thing about Leigh Bardugo in this work, is that he leaves no loose ends. And it's darker than the previous one, and I love that. Although the book has a pretty clear closure, it is possible to continue the story, but I don't think it will be the same given how some events ended.
If you are a fan of Fantasy books, this is one I can highly recommend. It has enough to leave you glued for many hours, filled with breathless moments and great emotions. They are, so far, part of my top books of this year.

Estos libros de Dark Fantasy ha Sido para mí, uno de los grandes descubrimientos de este año. Lo genial de Leigh Bardugo en esta obra, es que no deja ningún cabo suelto. Y es más oscura que la anterior y eso me encanta. Aunque el libro tiene un cierre bastante claro, es posible continuar con la historia, pero creo que no será lo mismo dado a como terminaron algunos de los acontecimientos.Si eres fan de los libros de Fantasía, este es uno de los que más te puedo recomendar. Tiene lo suficiente para dejarte pegado durante muchas horas llenas de momentos sin respirar y de grandes emociones. Son, hasta ahora, parte de mi top de libros de este año.
