This is a lovely series by our favorite teens fantasy writer Rick Riordan, widely known as the author of the Percy Jackson Series.
He made some other books and 2 more series based on the same universe of Percy Jackson in which Magnus Chase is one of them and believe me, the series are fire๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ”ฅ

๐•ป๐–‘๐–”๐–™

Magnus Chase, a homeless teenager, has just learned an impossible secret: he is the son of a Norse god. Now he must search for a weapon that will save the world or herald its doom. There's just one little catch: to succeed, he first must die. -Source

Seems enthralling enough โœจโš”๏ธ

The amount of fun I experienced reading this series has no bounds literally ๐Ÿ˜. It's one of those books that you'll just have to keep on reading and reading until you finish it, and then you're like

Wheew, now that was great ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

I feel Rick did an amazing work on this and personally, it's my personal best of all his series๐Ÿ™‚

Rick did an excellent job in the world building of this book. The fact that we start at Boston then to the halls of Valhalla, is no easy feat, and carrying the readers all the way isn't easy either.
The fact that you can visualize what the characters are seeing by description gives this book 3 gold stars.

I pointed before in my previous book review that I love a book that at least educates in a fun way.
Well this did ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
The Norse Mythology really put some facts in my head (although watered down), and there was a bit of an Islamic touch coming from one of our protagonist Samirah Al-abbas.
At the end it was a very good touch of edutainment (education+entertainment ๐Ÿ˜…)

I say it again in both my books and movie reviews, what would be a good story without great characters?

Shitty๐Ÿ˜”

One HBI to the reader at the back who answered ๐Ÿ˜ƒ(just joking ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ)

With the amount of difference this series had from Percy Jackson and the MagiciansWould review this next week coupled with Riordan's history of having great characters, it was a given that this series characters would be a blast...
It was and more๐Ÿ˜ญ....
The characters are really the prize jewels of this book, making it relatable, comical and suspense filled at the same time.
I have to say it...

Rick Riordan is an absolute Genius !!!

(In the screaming goats voice)Read the books to understand ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

There is actually nothing to criticize about this series, it was an absolute rollercoaster of comedy, action and just pure interestingness all round ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
A solid 9 stars from me๐Ÿคฉ
