Hola compañeros lectores de Hive Book Club, soy @rayman0630, con este segundo artículo que publico en la comunidad, les voy a realizar una breve reseña introductoria de un libro, que me encantó muchísimo, de una autora que me ha enganchado desde que leí el primer libro: Colleen Hoover. Un libro, que trata temas muy polémicos, que te harán cuestionar un poco la integridad moral de hasta la autora XD, de un suspenso interminable(básicamente en todo el libro), y un romance algo prohibido; este libro se llama Verity.
Hello fellow Hive Book Club readers, I am @rayman0630, with this second article that I publish in the community, I am going to give you a brief introductory review of a book, that I loved very much, by an author who has hooked me since I read the First book: Colleen Hoover. A book that deals with very controversial topics, that will make you question the moral integrity of even the author XD, with endless suspense (basically throughout the book), and a somewhat forbidden romance; the name of this book is Verity.
La historia, gira entorno ha nuestra protagonista, Lowen Ashleigh, una escritora de pocos recursos económicos, que sale de nuevo al mundo después del fallecimiento de su madre, para abordar una oferta de negocios con su agente. Una oferta para trabajar con una escritora best-seller, increíblemente famosa, pero que ha dejado de escribir libros, dejando una saga de libros sin terminar, llamada Verity Crawford. Y cómo la recibe el mundo, bueno, la recibe con la vista de el aplastamiento del cráneo de un tránseunte por un automóvil al frente de ella(╥‿‿╥). Bueno, pero esto no es importante, a partir de este hecho conoce a un hombre guapo(como casi todos los protagonistas ┐ ( ̄ ~ ̄) ┌), que la ayuda a limpiarse la sangre que salió disparada del choque y daño su ropa, peeero, el chico que la ayuda resulta ser el esposo de Verity, Jeremy Crawford.
The story revolves around our protagonist, Lowen Ashleigh, a writer with few economic resources, who goes out into the world again after the death of her mother, to address a business offer with her agent. An offer to work with a best-selling writer, incredibly famous, but who has stopped writing books, leaving an unfinished book saga, named Verity Crawford. And how the world greets her, well, greets her with the sight of a passerby's skull being crushed by a car in front of her(╥‿‿╥). Well, but this is not important, from this fact she meets a handsome man (like almost all the protagonists ┐ ( ̄ ~ ̄) ┌), who helps her clean the blood that shot out from the crash and damaged her clothes, But, the guy helping her turns out to be Verity's husband, Jeremy Crawford.
Al ir a la reunión y discutir con Jeremy y su agente, recibe la propuesta, de continuar la saga que Verity dejó sin terminar, sin embargo debe ser en la casa de los Crawford, una casa en el campo, alejada de la ciudad en el que viven una bella familia de 5 personas, Verity, Jeremy, sus dos hijas gemelas, y su hijo menor. O vivían, por qué se preguntan, porque sus dos hijas murieron, una por intoxicación y otra por ahogarse en un lago. Y además de eso, el estado en el que se encuentra Verity, es el de una persona vegetal, debido a un choque de automóvil (música de suspenso).
When going to the meeting and discussing with Jeremy and his agent, he receives the proposal to continue the saga that Verity left unfinished, however it must be at the Crawford house, a house in the country, far from the city in the They live in a beautiful family of 5 people, Verity, Jeremy, their two twin daughters, and their youngest son. Or they lived, why do they wonder, because their two daughters died, one from poisoning and the other from drowning in a lake. And on top of that, the state Verity is in, is that of a plant person, due to a car crash (suspenseful music).
Luego de que Lowen llega a la casa de Verity y Jeremy, la llevan al estudio de Verity para que revise sus notas y libros, para poder hacer el trabajo de continuar sus libros, sin embargo entre sus notas se encuentra una autobiografía escrita por Verity que no fue terminada, y al leerla se entera de lo que realmente fue el fallecimiento de la hija de Verity, y sus secretos más oscuros enterrados en lo más profundo de su mente, que a no ser por esta novela, quedarían enterrados en el olvido. También está la relación que se va desarrollando entre Jeremy y Lowen, y la cierta tensión sexual que existe entre estos dos, que se ve frenada por la existencia de Verity en la casa, la esposa de Jeremy.
After Lowen arrives at Verity and Jeremy's house, they take her to Verity's study to go through her notes and books, so she can do the job of continuing her books, however among her notes is an autobiography written by Verity that it was not finished, and reading it, he learns what the death of Verity's daughter really was, and her darkest secrets buried in the depths of her mind, which, but for this novel, would be buried in oblivion. There is also the relationship that is developing between Jeremy and Lowen, and the certain sexual tension that exists between these two, which is slowed down by the existence of Verity in the house, Jeremy's wife.
Esta es una excelente historia que me pareció muy entretenida la verdad, no puedes parar de leer, empecé a leer unas cuantas páginas, y al darme cuenta ya iba por la mitad del libro (◡‿◡ *), tiene muchos más secretos y temas ocultos de lo que aparenta el libro, y una trama que te atrapa de una vez. Si les soy sincero este es uno de los primeros libros del genero Thriler, que he leído, me llamaban más la atención el género de Drama, Romance, Fantasía y Aventura, pero este libro me abrió los ojos a un mundo de incertidumbre y espectación que me fascinó. Además, de que después de terminar la novela, te quedas como 3 días así XD:
This is an excellent story that I found really entertaining, you can't stop reading, I started reading a few pages, and when I realized it I was already halfway through the book (◡‿◡ *), it has many more secrets and themes hidden from what the book appears, and a plot that catches you at once. If I am honest, this is one of the first books of the Thriler genre that I have read, the genre of Drama, Romance, Fantasy and Adventure attracted my attention more, but this book opened my eyes to a world of uncertainty and expectation that I love it. Also, after finishing the novel, you stay like this for like 3 days XD:
