This is a special publication of a newspaper from the state where I live, Zulia state, Venezuela. The newspaper is called Diario Panorama and has been active since December 1, 1914. Its last printed edition was on May 14, 2019, due to the situation of the country, so it continued publishing from its official page, but this was closed, so it continues informing and keeping the news through its social networks.
Esta es una publicación especial de un periódico del estado en el que vivo, el estado Zulia, Venezuela. El periódico lleva por nombre Diario Panorama y lleva activo desde el 1 de diciembre de 1914. Su última edición impresa fue el 14 de mayo de 2019, debido a la situación del país, por lo que siguió publicando desde su página oficial, pero esta fue clausurada, por lo que sigue informando y manteniendo las noticias por medio de sus redes sociales.
I got this book because a neighbor gave it to me as a gift, because she knew I would appreciate its meaning and that I might like it. She was not wrong, I love reading it.

This is a special publication, made to honor the 135th anniversary of the birth of the Zulian poet Udón Pérez, an important and renowned local character.
Esta es una publicación especial, hecha para homenajear los 135 años del natalicio del poeta zuliano, Udón Pérez, un importante y reconocido personaje local.
This publication is divided into chapters, each one telling different things about the state of Zulia. Chapter 1 talks about historical and religious events; Chapter 2 about the state's architecture; Chapter 3 explains customs, myths and traditions of the areas and Chapter 4 talks about popular characters.
Esta publicación se divide en capítulos, cada uno relatando diferentes cosas del estado Zulia. El capítulo 1 habla sobre los acontecimientos históricos y religiosos; el capítulo 2 de la arquitectura del estado; en el capítulo 3 se explican costumbres, mitos y tradiciones de las zonas y en el capítulo 4 habla de personajes populares.
Chapters 5, 6 and 7 deal with stores and supplies; roads, streets, avenues and ports; and services, respectively.
En los capítulos 5, 6 y 7, se habla de los comercios y abastos; las vías, calles, avenidas y puertos; y los servicios, respectivamente.
In chapter 8, the state's shows, entertainment and sports are discussed; in chapter 9, art, culture and education; and in the last chapter, communications and transportation.
En el capítulo 8 se cuentan los espectáculos, entretenimiento y deportes del estado; en el 9 se hablar del arte, la cultura y la educación, y en el último capítulo se cuenta sobre las comunicaciones y el transporte.
Here I show the names of the historians who were consulted about the contents of this edition and I show you the back cover, which has the image and a small piece of writing by Udón Pérez, to whom this special edition was dedicated.

As can be seen, Zulia and, above all, Maracaibo, during the 20th century, are mentioned all the time. This book was published in 2006, so it is 16 years old since its publication.
Como puede apreciarse, todo el tiempo se habla del Zulia y, sobre todo, Maracaibo, durante el siglo XX. Este libro fue publicado en el año 2006, por lo que tiene 16 años desde su publicación.
