Hoy vengo acá con una propuesta diferente, les traigo un booktag que vi en varias cuentas de libros en Instagram que consiste en recomendar un libro por cada letra de nuestro nombre. Mi nombre es Erika así que esta sería mi selección, tengan en cuenta que está basada en los títulos de los libros en idioma español por lo que los conservaré de esta manera.

Este libro me gustó mucho en su momento porque es como un fantasy histórico que nos cuenta la vida de la hermana de Mozart que supuestamente también era buena en la música y la composición, pero no pudo realizarse en esta profesión por ser una mujer. Así que esta es su historia, la de la otra Mozart. Fue una lectura que me sorprendió y se las recomiendo.
I liked this book very much at the time because it is like a historical fantasy that tells us the life of Mozart's sister who supposedly was also good at music and composition, but could not be fulfilled in this profession because she was a woman. So this is her story, the story of the other Mozart. It was a reading that surprised me and I recommend it to you.
R: Rilla la de Ingleside de la autora Lucy Maud Montgomery.
El último libro de la saga de Ana la de Tejas Verdes, en esta ocasión está narrado desde el punto de vista de su hija menor y nos cuenta acerca de la labor que cumplieron las mujeres y cómo ayudaron en los comienzos de la Primera Guerra Mundial. Un libro que me sorprendió mucho y me hizo sufrir en algunas partes, podemos ver una evolución muy notoria de este personaje que pasa de ser una chiquilla vanidosa a ser un ejemplo de perseverancia y esperanza.

I: Insomnia de la autora J.R. Johansson.
Este libro lo leí hace muchísimos años y no me acuerdo de mucho (pero era el único en físico que tenía con la letra I jajaja). Es una especie de thriller juvenil donde el protagonista cada noche entra en las pesadillas de la última persona con la que tuvo contacto visual, esto provoca que no pueda descansar y su mente este perturbada producto de la falta de sueño y de lo que le pasa. Hasta que conoce a una chica y descubre que sus sueños son pacíficos por lo que es su oportunidad para descansar, pero también se termina obsesionando un poco con ella. Es el primero de una trilogía que nunca termine, pero cada que lo veo me dan ganas de saber cómo culmina esta historia.
I read this book many years ago and I don't remember much (but it was the only one I had with the letter I hahaha). It is a kind of juvenile thriller where the protagonist every night enters the nightmares of the last person he had visual contact with, this causes him to be unable to rest and his mind is disturbed by the lack of sleep and what happens to him. Until he meets a girl and discovers that his dreams are peaceful so it is his chance to rest, but also ends up becoming a little obsessed with her. It is the first of a trilogy that never ends, but every time I see it I want to know how this story ends.
K: Karma al instante de la autora Marissa Meyer.
Un romance juvenil de verano donde la protagonista cree tener el don de impartir el karma hacía otra persona tras descubrir que están teniendo un mal accionar, hasta que lo intenta hacer con su compañero de clase al que no soporta porque tiene ciertos prejuicios contra él y no le funciona, es más, el karma lo recompensa a él y la perjudica a ella. Es un libro súper tierno, fresco y divertido, ideal para leer en verano, además de ser educativo porque nos habla de la importancia de reciclar y cuidar el medio ambiente, sobre todo el marino. Está más que recomendado por mi parte.
A young summer romance where the protagonist believes she has the gift of imparting karma to another person after discovering that they are having a bad action, until she tries to do it with her classmate whom she cannot stand because she has certain prejudices against him and it does not work, in fact, karma rewards him and harms her. It is a super cute, fresh and fun book, ideal for summer reading, besides being educational because it tells us about the importance of recycling and caring for the environment, especially the marine environment. It is more than recommended by me.

No podía faltar uno de los libros de la saga que me hizo descubrir mi amor hacia la lectura. Amanecer es el último libro de Crepúsculo que me imagino que todos sabrán que trata sobre vampiros adolescentes que brillan con el sol y una historia de amor al estilo Romeo y Julieta pero con un final más alegré. Sin dudas es una de esas sagas que marcó a varias personas y yo soy una de ellas. Sé que no es lo mejor en cuanto a literatura, pero les tengo un profundo aprecio.
I couldn't miss one of the books of the serie that made me discover my love for reading. Breaking Dawn is the last Twilight book that I imagine everyone knows is about teenage vampires that glow in the sun and a love story like Romeo and Juliet but with a happier ending. Undoubtedly it is one of those sagas that marked several people and I am one of them. I know it is not the best in terms of literature, but I have a deep appreciation for them.
