Mieszka w chatce w zapomnianym lesie i ma ucznia. Tenże, imieniem Jakub, jest Inżynierem Marzeń Dziecięcych – czyż nie brzmi to baśniowo? Wspólnie przeżywają wiele niezwykłych, magicznych przygód, w których biorą udział także dzieci – takie jakimi Wy byliście kiedyś, lub jesteście dziś... a może macie już swoje własne dzieci, które rozpoznają na kartach książki swoje własne emocje, marzenia i pragnienia? | Margot (this is the real name of the Witch) is (as her nickname suggests) a colourful character who is also kind to people (especially children!), warm, friendly and welcoming - not at all like the wicked witches of some fairy tales. | Jednak sama warstwa przygodowa – choć niewątpliwie interesująca i wciągająca – nie stanowi głównej wartości książki. Co najmniej równie ważne, a może nawet – ważniejsze jest to, że te barwne i kolorowe przygody służą, oprócz rozrywki, także pracy z odczuwaniem emocji. Emocji zarówno wesołych, radosnych, jak też tych mniej przyjemnych, lecz często nieuniknionych, takich jak rozstanie, utrata czy smutki związane z chorobą. Bohaterowie pokazują nam także, że warto jest być sobą, że bycie „tu i teraz” nie jest mniej ważne od prób zaspokojenia oczekiwań innych osób. Jestem pewien, że każdy – czy to dziecko, czy dorosły – może znaleźć w opisywanych wydarzeniach i emocjach coś dla siebie. Coś, z czym będzie się identyfikował. Być może coś, co pomoże mu przezwyciężyć swoje zmartwienia, być może – łatwiej znosić swoje problemy. Być może nawet jego życie dzięki temu stanie się lepsze – a to byłaby najpiękniejsza nagroda dla Kolorowej Wiedźmy. I dla samej autorki również. | However, the adventure layer alone - while undoubtedly interesting and engaging - is not the main value of the book. At least as important, if not more so, is the fact that these colourful adventures not only serve to entertain, but also to work on the emotions. Emotions that are both happy and joyful, as well as those that are less pleasant but often unavoidable, such as separation, loss or the sorrows associated with illness. The characters also show us that it is worth being ourselves, that being 'here and now' is no less important than trying to meet other people's expectations. I am sure that everyone, child or adult, can find something in the events and emotions described. Something he or she can identify with. Perhaps something that will help them to overcome their worries, perhaps - to bear their problems more easily. Maybe it will even make their lives better - and that would be the best reward for the Colourful Witch. And for the author herself. |
| W tym miejscu właściwie powinienem skończyć. Ale – wspominałem o pracach wydawniczo-edytorskich, prawda? Więc te prace wciąż trwają. Wciąż tworzą się przepiękne ilustracje – na razie możemy podziwiać jedynie niektóre szkice, które będą udoskonalane, by rozpieścić czytelnika również wizualnie. Ilustracji będzie aż 60! A gdy już wszystko będzie gotowe, trzeba jeszcze będzie zanieść to do drukarni, by tam przelać powstałe treści na gładki papier, by mogły trafić do czytelników w jak najpiękniejszej postaci. By książka nie tylko się przyjemnie czytała, ale też by ładnie wyglądała zarówno podczas lektury, jak też później na półce. A żeby tak rzeczywiście mogło być – zajrzyjcie proszę o, TU. Tam możecie złożyć zamówienie na książkę jeszcze przedpremierowo, tak, żeby trafiła do Was w pierwszej kolejności. Albo po prostu potrząsnąć sakiewką i dać grosza Wiedźmie, by łatwiej jej było godziwie opłacić ilustratorkę i drukarza. Myślę, że warto :) | This is where I should have stopped. But - I mentioned the publishing and editing work, didn't I? So those works are still in progress. Beautiful illustrations are still being created - at the moment we can only admire some sketches, which will be refined in order to spoil the reader visually as well. There will be up to 60 illustrations! And when everything is ready, the book will go to the printer to be transferred onto smooth paper so that it can reach the reader in the best possible form. So that the book is not only pleasant to read, but also looks good while reading and later on the shelf. And to make sure that this really happens - please take a look just HERE.
