Welcome to our Tuesday’s art. I encourage you to join it to share your ideas or art process.
⭐️Three posts will get a reward from me.⭐️
First place will get 350 ecency points
Second place - 250 ecency points
Third place - 150 ecency points
I’ll be using my own ecency points to reward for right now. Hopefully together we can grow a great and friendly community where people can teach and learn art.
Upvotes and reposts are appreciated and used for the future rewards. Make sure to put a hashtag #artteachers and leave a link to your post in the comments.
The timeframe is one week from Tuesday to Monday, and next Tuesday the challenge will start over.
Ok, now let me share my morning digital sketch.
If you ever used Procreate app, you probably know there is a Symmetry tool there. The one I used today is Radial. It works for drawing anything that gets split into segments like pizza.
I used a Monoline brush to draw the spider web.
I repeated steps with the web segments.
Then, I created a new layer and filled it with an orange color.
In another layer I started drawing a spider.
This is how the spider looks with all of its legs.
Then it’s pretty easy, just draw eyes, again it’s better to do it in a new layer, so you can easily edit it.
Now I took a fluffy looking brush from the built in set. It’s called Wildgrass, and it’s in Organic set.
I trace over the spider with this brush, to make it look more furry, if I can say so. I also added a spider string just because I wanted it to kind of hang on it.
Here is our spider 🕷. Let me know what do you think and if it was easy for you to draw using Symmetry tool. In this lesson we used this tool only for the web layer.
I hope you enjoyed the process photos.
