Hello friends and family in the Ecency and Shadow Hunters Community. This is my entry for the #Shadow Hunters SMASh Contest Round 314. I took the pictures this evening using the shadow from our lamp.
Today has been a wonderful Sunday with awesome experiences. It was awesome because we had a nice time in church fellowshipping with the brethren and worshiping God together. It is always fun to be in the presence of God.
Not only did we have a good time doing our worship rites, we also had the opportunity to interact and greet brethren whom we have not seen for about a week. It was a good time to exchange pleasantries.
Being in church on a Sunday is more than just religious practice or a custom to me. I believe we all have what we based our faith and beliefs on. I believe in God. I believe in Jesus Christ, the Son to God. So, this season is quite significant to me.
Today is popularly known as Palm Sunday. It is a Sunday prior to Easter Sunday. Historically, Palm Sunday is the day Jesus rode on an ass and entered Jerusalem triumphantly. The celebration was everywhere in the air. Many churches carry palm fronds to commemorate the season.
After the church service, we went home to have our meals and take care of chores at home. As I sit down outside I took this picture so that I will submit for @melinda010100 #shadowhunters contest.
