Wandering around the untidy yard;
My eyes sighted a sight that caused my mind to wander.
What a display this could symbolize,
A pair on the bench?
The sun was up shining brightly;
I heard the chantings of the birds on the neighboring trees.
Not much a wonder that objects can be exposed for dryness
Under the heat of the sun on a sunny day.
A couple on the bench?
As the left side glanced at the right side;
They could be making conversations
Not lawful for humans to hear.
The discourse of a couple on the bench.
Left behind?
With some cuts and tears on their bodies;
Could the owner have abandoned a damaged pair?
Justified to be disposed;
Because usage wasn't feasible anymore.
Might be a forgotten pair
Of a wandering passer-by;
Wearied and tired from the intense heat of the sun.
So psychologically traumatized not to remember his pair of slippers.
