Friday shadow hunting begins again today with Shadow Hunters Community Contest/Show Me a Shadow: Round 240! For my entry this week I'm sharing a few photos that I just took on my plant friend Kelly's property, of the top of a small anatto/achiote shrub - Bixa orellana.
The red fuzzy seed pods diffuse the sunlight, softening the edges of the shadows, which is lovely effect. The oily orange paste around the seeds of anatto is used as a natural food coloring. I hope y'all dig 'em! 🙏 💚 ⚡ 💥 🔥 👣 🌱
