Lucas was thinking about how much he could take everything for granted, walk free around town, have a good job, be lucky enough to have family and friends with whom to share good times and painful times, take his girlfriend out to dinner. and hope she was finally the right one. In short, normal things…. while in Ukraine there was the war.
We consider ourselves so evolved, we are so presumptuous thinking we are intelligent…. yet we fall so low for the abominable obsession with power. How is it possible?

Lucas stava pensando a quanto riuscisse a dare tutto per scontato, camminare libero per la città, avere un buon lavoro, avere la fortuna di avere una famiglia e degli amici con cui condividere i momenti belli e quelli dolorosi, portare fuori a cena la sua fidanzata e sperare che finalmente fosse quella giusta. Cose normali insomma …. mentre in Ucraina c'era la guerra.
Ci riteniamo cosi evoluti, siamo cosi presuntuosi pensando di essere intelligenti …. eppure cadiamo cosi in basso per l'abominevole ossessione del potere. Come è possibile?
