Maria often felt alone, even though she had all the love of her family, she felt that something was missing. So, like many children, she surrounded herself with some imaginary friends, in particular she had given birth to Sara, a special friend who never left her. She demanded that a plate be put on the table for her too and a pillow in the bed to sleep. What no one ever knew is that Maria continued to "see" Sara until she was almost 35 when she finally met a girl like her who managed to deserve the trust of a friend.

Maria si sentiva spesso sola, anche se aveva tutto l'amore della sua famiglia sentiva che le mancava qualcosa. Cosi, come molti bambini, si circondò di alcuni amici immaginari, in particolare aveva dato vita a Sara, un'amica speciale che non la lasciava mai. Pretendeva che si mettesse un piatto anche per lei a tavola e un cuscino nel letto per dormire. Quello che nessuno seppe mai è che Maria continuò a “vedere” Sara fino a quasi 35 anni quando finalmente incontrò una ragazza come lei che riuscì a meritarsi la fiducia di amica.
