To go to the University, Michela took the train almost every day, except on Thursdays because it was more the time she spent on the journey than the actual hours of lessons. She enjoyed taking that train ride with a hundred other guys like her, all discussing about professors, exams, how to study and complaining about how little free time they had left for themselves. She liked that swarming of thoughts, ideas, dreams. But sometimes she was really tired, and often fell asleep when she returned.

Per andare all'Università Michela prendeva il treno quasi tutti i giorni, eccetto il giovedì perchè era più il tempo che impiegava nel viaggio che le ore effettive di lezione. Le piaceva fare quel tragitto in treno con un centinaio di altri ragazzi come lei, tutti a discutere di professori, esami, come studiare e a lamentarsi di quanto poco tempo libero rimaneva per se stessi. Le piaceva quel brulicare di pensieri, di idee, di sogni. Ma a volte era veramente stanca, e al ritorno spesso si addormentava.
