This week, I visited my Sister's home, and it was quite productive as I got some good content for the reflections hunter's contest.

After a gap I am participating because capturing reflection is not that easy compared to shadows. Reflections are a bit trickier than shadows.

I was sitting on the sofa, and suddenly the curtains caught my attention. The tiled floor has been so well maintained that even I can see my face upon it. So the curtain was casting nice reflections upon the floor.

Without wasting time, I started capturing a few shots. They also asked me about it. I told them that I would monetize these shots in Hive.

I tried to capture the symmetry because reflections always create a wow effect with symmetry. But I guess the best medium for symmetry is puddles, lakes, etc.

Reflections mirror and juxtapose existential ideas, its exploration of its complementary pair. The ephemeral reflections of the subject are a demonstration of presence and absence, and it symbolizes how the opposites can be connected with one another.

I am not a pro when it comes to photography, but this is an area that I would like to explore more. Even though it is a technical exercise of right angle, choice of medium, contrast, light, etc, I am more into the philosophical side of reflections or shadows.

These days, whenever and wherever I go outside or to a city, I look for polished surfaces, rivers, lakes, or similar mediums where I can capture more reflection shots. These perpetual contests in Ecency have augmented good habits in me.

That's all for the day.

Thank you.
