Hello every body 🙏. In norwegian we say takk for sist! which means thanks for the last time. And now for my new entry. These photos were taken nearby our house in the historical park that once was a military base. Most of the time taking walks gives new experience. This is a scenic big open place along the sea. Some areas are occupied with norwegian culture and historical memories.
here you cannot see the window framing these photos which are of old boats from a symbolic art installation which reflects the change in focus of the park from wartime to peacetime activities. These old wooden boats are no longer seaworthy but look nice erected among the surrounding trees.
The window reflecting all of the boats in the post is on the backside of a small house with art exhibitions. the glass is thermopane so it is giving double reflections making it challenging to get clear images
approaching the boats activates an audio recording with different scenes from the days the boats were part of daily life in the fishing village
in those days fish were plentiful and the main staple but folk would occasionally row all the way to denmark to get necessary supplies
