It was a beautiful Sunday late afternoon. I had just gotten back from visiting my two granddaughters, their mom and dad went to a family wedding, and they were gone for two nights, "Grammy" would hold down the fort.
As all the #silverbloggers know, there is nothing better than to feel the love of our grand kids.
It's like a do over for being a parent, all our mistakes are forgiven. They see us in a whole new light, SURE, WE SPOIL THEM, but that's the real message here. Our grandchildren love us unconditionally, they never have to judge us because we always say yes.
Our hope is that we have taught our children the right way to guide their children. If we have done a good job with our children then we will see that in our "GRANDS".
Reflection and conversation are such an important part of married life, leaving, for a short break then coming back home is always a joy for @thebigsweed and I. It's nice to miss each other and when the sun is setting and the #shadows come out, I feel blessed.
There's nothing better here on the farm than to share a good bottle of vino and appreciate nature as we share our lives, content not to say a word at times, just absorbing the moment.
A laugh or two never escape us as we look at photos of the antics of these crazy little girls.
