This shadow is one of the old lamps in the old historic quarter in Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay. This old quarter is absolutely a unique place to walk around. It's a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lots of narrow cobbled streets with old, picturesque houses and places. Colonia has an architectural heritage from an Spanish and Portuguese influence. Colonia was founded as a town in 1680 by a Portuguese, but in 1777 Spain took over. This town is located by the Rio de la Plata, only a short ferry ride from Buenos Aires. The colonial atmosphere in the old quarter is worth a boattrip if you happen to be in Buenos Aires. You can make it on a day trip if you take the early morning boat.
