The tasty pine nuts are found inside the fruits of the pine tree, enclosed by a wooden structure. When it reaches maturity the fruit generally falls to the ground and, after having collected them, the pine nuts can be extracted to season dishes or toast and munch them at will. Pine nuts are better with a pinch of salt.

I gustosi pinoli si trovano all’interno dei frutti dell’albero del pino, racchiusi da una struttura di legno. Quando giunge a maturazione il frutto generalmente cade per terra e, dopo averli raccolti, i pinoli possono essere estratti per condire le pietanze o tostarli e sgranocchiarli a volontà. I pinoli sono più buoni un pizzico di sale.
