Let's see the level of difficulty of the architecture of the Nurul Islam mosque.

Good evening to all HIVE friends in this community, I will share a little bit of the architectural design of the Nurul Islam Mosque in Denai District, North Sumatra Province. This mosque, which has striking colors, is like a magnet in itself. The location of the mosque at the crossroads makes it easy for everyone to meet here and find public transportation. Anyone, any religion or ethnicity can gather here as long as they maintain their polite behavior.

First we will see from the front of the mosque not only because of its striking color but also because in an area as small as this I see this building has some complexity when making it and when I see the overall design is very detailed and very smooth workmanship. If I see the design on the upper pillars that are made in relief shaped like the shape above, they must be really expert otherwise the desired motif will not be so that the shape is like a carving and wallpaper. Then it becomes perfect with the gradation of the chosen color, the curves of the dome and the entrance and the small supporting pillars become a very sweet complement to look at and seem to perfect the existing design and the complexity made. But ignore the cables that cross above it, my friend.

And walking a little to the side, there are no longer any large main pillars, all of these pillars are already standard sizes, namely 40 x 40 and these pillars have been purchased so that they are like this, only the polishing and painting parts are adjusted to the existing building. And the design of the upper part of the curved wall of the dome and the frame of the outer edge of the upper dome is designed in the shape of a flower that I know already has a mold, it only needs to be adjusted to the technique of the builder. And the stairs on the side function to clean the roof every Sunday and I happened to be at this mosque right on Sunday morning.

Entering the mosque I immediately saw a cupboard that had many awards for creativity competitions held in the area. I read this information from the trophy awards they received. And the floor of the inner mosque was given white ceramics then covered with green ambal. The inner walls of the mosque were also given similar ceramics but only as high as the award cupboard, this was intended to make the appearance of this mosque look more luxurious.

If most mosques today already use PVC ceilings I do not see a mosque that has a blue dome on the inside like the color of the sky and surrounded by Arabic accents on the upper side of this dome. not using ceilings but using cement gutters so that the zinc used is invisible. This use is very effective and much stronger than using PVC but aesthetically it is outdated. Even so, the level of complexity of the design of the outside of the mosque is a special attraction for builders who want to find inspiration. Because even though we see it as ordinary, I know this has a high level of complexity and takes a lot of time so that the costs incurred will definitely increase much more than if we do not give a touch of relief to the building.

These mosque buildings are very numerous in this area up to Aceh and there are very few urban buildings in them. In the future I will show you again how the other mosques are. Greetings from Tomi diwirja, Indonesia
