Today I want to share with all my impressions of my visit to the Malye Karely Museum of Wooden Architecture in Arkhangelsk. I had a chance to stay in this huge museum for only half a day, but despite such a short period of time for inspection, I got great pleasure and vivid impressions.
The museum is divided into four zones. Each zone contains samples of wooden architecture from different districts of the Arkhangelsk region. The place is fantastic. This is where you can go back in time. You can see how people lived 300 years ago.
To date, the museum features over 120 objects. The oldest of them were built in the 16th century! Some peasant dwellings have preserved their original interiors with stoves, furniture and kitchen utensils.

Each object came to the museum from different places in the vast seaside region. Each object has its own complex history. The process of finding, delivering and assembling a building deserves a separate novel. Each object was assembled in the museum according to the ancient tradition, using a saw and an ax, and without a single nail!
The exposition of the museum contains a series of photographs describing the process of transferring an abandoned temple to the territory of the museum. This is some kind of fantasy. The object was found in a remote abandoned village, in a place where there are no roads. The church was airlifted by helicopter!

Here you can feel the atmosphere of a northern village. Here you can find peace of mind and enjoy the splendor of ancient architecture and the grandeur of northern nature.
If you arrive in winter, it will give a completely different atmosphere to your visit. Walking through the snow-covered surroundings, it is very pleasant to get from a severe frost to a warm northern hut, in which there is a cozy smell of warm wood. A hospitable museum worker, in a traditional Russian costume, will willingly tell you about the life and customs of the inhabitants of the Russian north.

The museum is so unusual and original that when you enter the territory of the museum, you seem to be transported into a completely different world, so unusual for us after the hustle and bustle of the city.
Fairy-tale films were filmed here. Many historical films have been filmed here. Great nature for filming. No decorations are needed here, everything has been preserved in its original form.

Сегодня я хочу поделиться со всеми моими впечатлениями от визита в музей деревянной архитектуры "Малые Карелы" в Архангельске. Мне довелось пробыть в этом огромном музее всего пол дня, но не смотря на столь короткий промежуток времени для осмотра я получил огромное удовольствие и яркие впечатления.

Музей делится на четыре зоны. В каждой зоне собраны образцы деревянной архитектуры из разных районов Архангельской области. Место фантастическое. Здесь вы можете попасть в прошлое. Вы можете посмотреть как люди жили 300 лет тому назад.
На сегодняшний день в музее представлено более 120 объектов. Самые старые из них построены еще в XVI веке! В некоторых жилых крестьянских домах сохранились оригинальные интерьеры с печами, мебелью и кухонной утварью.

Каждый объект попал в музей из разных мест огромного приморского региона. У каждого объекта своя сложная история. Процесс поиска, доставки и сборки строения заслуживает отдельного романа. Каждый объект собирался в музее по древней традиции, при помощи пилы и топора, и без единого гвоздя!
В экспозиции музея есть цикл фотографий описывающих процесс переноса заброшенного храма на территорию музея. Это какая-то фантастика. Объект был найден в дальней заброшенной деревне, в таком месте, где нет автомобильных дорог. Церковь перевезли по воздуху при помощи вертолета!

Здесь можно ощутить атмосферу северной деревни. Здесь можно обрести душевное спокойствие и насладиться великолепием старинной архитектуры и величием северной природы.
Если вы приедете зимой, это придаст совершенно иную атмосферу вашему визиту. Прогулявшись по заснеженным окрестностям, очень приятно попасть с сурового мороза в теплый северную избу, в уоторой уютно пахнет теплым деревом. Гостеприимный работник музея, в традиционном русском костюме, охотно поведает вам о жизни и нравах жителей русского севера.

Музей настолько необычный и самобытный, что попадая на территорию музея, ты словно переносишься в совершенно иной мир, такой непривычный нам после суеты и шума города.
Здесь снимались фильмы-сказки. Здесь было снято множество исторических фильмов. Прекрасная натура для съемки фильма. Здесь не нужны декорации, здесь всё сохранилось в первозданном виде.
