Greetings, friends, lovers of architecture and design. Today I would like to share with you a brief tour of an emblematic building of my city, the Yaracuy Acoustic Shell.
This was a space that for some time had been recovering, because it was certainly in poor condition. People did not go there often, those facilities were always lonely. It is located on the banks of one of the important avenues of the city, called Avenida Alberto Ravell.

Saludos, amigos amantes de la arquitectura y el diseño. Hoy me gustaría compartir con ustedes un breve recorrido por una emblemática edificación de brmi ciudad, la Concha Acústica Yaracuy.
Este era un espacio que desde hace un tiempo se había estado recuperando, porque ciertamente estaba en malas condiciones. Allí las personas no iban con frecuencia, siempre estaban solas esas instalaciones. Está ubicada a orillas de una de las avenidas importantes de la ciudad, llamada Avenida Alberto Ravell.
Although the square that presides over the Acoustic Shell was not remodeled, but restored (it was cleaned and painted), it certainly looks like a new place, compared to how it was.
Aunque la plaza que preside a la Concha Acústica no fue remodelada, sino restaurada (la limpiaron y pintaron), ciertamente luce como un lugar nuevo, en comparación a cómo estaba.

The square has green areas that were recovered. There were many trees with a lot of dry branches and you can imagine that this can be dangerous in a public square. But notice that now you can be calmly in these green areas without any problem.
La plaza cuenta con áreas verdes que fueron recuperadas. Habían muchos árboles con un montón de ramas secas y se imaginarán que eso en una plaza pública puede ser peligroso. Pero fíjense que ahora se puede estar tranquilamente en estás áreas verdes sin ningún problema.

There are sectors of these areas where they installed machines for the general public to exercise. This is pretty cool because it helps make the plaza more crowded as people come to exercise.
Hay sectores de estás áreas en los que instalaron máquinas para que el público en general hiciera ejercicio. Esto es bastante genial porque ayuda a qué la plaza sea más concurrida debido a que las personas llegan a hacer ejercicio.

On the other hand, something that can be beautiful about this place, is the art that it has on one of its walls, a rather large mural with a lot of really beautiful drawings. Seeing them in person is certainly an experience, because each drawing holds a lot of details that are well worth sitting down to observe.
Por otra parte, algo que puede resultar hermoso de este lugar, es el arte que tiene en una de sus paredes, un mural bastante grande con un montón de dibujos realmente hermosos. Verlos en persona es toda una experiencia ciertamente, porque cada dibujo guarda un montón de detalles que bien vale la pena sentarse a observar.
This entire square is called Raul Ramos Gimenez and, as I said, it presides over what is the Concha Acústica de Yaracuy. In the center of this entire square is this huge concrete esplanade with three huge obelisks in the center.
It is a wide and empty area where people are used to take pictures, there is also next to the three obelisks, or pillars, a large bust of Raul Ramos Gimenez.
Toda esta plaza se llama Raúl Ramos Gimenez y, como ya dije, preside a lo que es la Concha Acústica de Yaracuy. En el centro de toda esta plaza se encuentra esta enorme explanada de concreto con tres enormes obeliscos en el centro.
Es un área amplia y vacía a donde las personas acostumbran a tomar fotografías, allí también se encuentra junto a los tres obeliscos, o pilares, un busto de gran tamaño de Raúl Ramos Gimenez.
In addition to the above, this plaza has two recreational areas, with a small basketball court and a sand recreational area for younger children.
Además de lo mencionado, esta plaza cuenta con dos áreas recreativas, con una pequeña cancha de baloncesto y un área recreativa de arena para los niños más pequeños.

This is a pretty cool area that looks great and is lovely for kids visiting the plaza, which is great because for parents who are just looking to sit quietly in the plaza, this space can be a great break for kids to play while they rest.
Esta es un área bastante genial que luce muy bien y que resulta encantadora para los niños que visitan la plaza, algo genial porque para los padres que solo buscan estar sentados tranquilamente en la plaza, este espacio puede ser un gran descanso para que los niños jueguen mientras ellos descansan.

Finally we arrived at the Concha Acústica. Although it doesn't look impressive during the day, at night and with a stage in the background it looks pretty cool. It is in this place where many concerts have been held recently.
Finalmente llegamos a la Concha Acústica. Aunque de día no se ve nada impresionante, de noche y con una tarima de fondo sí que luce bastante genial. Es en este lugar donde se han hecho numerosos conciertos recientemente.
The site is comprised of a huge flat area in the background with numerous bleachers around it. Although photographs may not show the sheer size of this open-air "theater", the view from above and the view from below, where the stage should be, is impressive in person.
El lugar esta comprendido por un enorme área plana de fondo con numerosas gradas alrededor. Aunque en fotografías quizás no se pueda apreciar el gran tamaño de este "teatro" al aire libre, en persona resulta impresionante tanto la vista desde arriba como la vista desde abajo, desde donde debería estar el escenario.
