I hope you have a wonderful weekend, surrounded by many blessings, it is nice to have another opportunity to greet you and share with you a new architectural discovery, in the middle of my daily routine. This time I want to share some pictures of Prego Café, a new coffee shop that I met by chance, but that left me in love, thanks to the beautiful design of its interior.
Yesterday was a day full of paperwork and paperwork, nothing fun, to be honest, but it was time to solve this pending issue that I had since 2022, which was taking my sleep, and that is that I had not yet been able to register my university degree, before the public registry, which is a necessary requirement to legalize it and to obtain my card from the College of Engineers of Venezuela.
When I arrived at the public registry, they told me which was the protocol to follow and recommended me this nice cafeteria, they told me that here I would receive all the advice, since they are experts in the whole process, this way, I would avoid mistakes and it would be less tedious for me.
When they told me this, I just imagined, a common place full of papers and photocopiers with some coffee vending machine. The cafeteria is right next to the public registry, on Av. 2 Lora, at the end of the Viaducto Miranda, in the City of Merida. It is located in a very central and easily accessible place. Upon entering, I found a very nice place, with attractive decoration, which makes you think that it is the right place to enjoy a delicious traditional breakfast.
Espero que tengan un maravilloso fin de semana, rodeados de muchas bendiciones, es grato tener una nueva oportunidad para saludarlos y compartir con ustedes un nuevo descubrimiento arquitectónico, en medio de mi rutina diaria. En esta ocasión quiero compartir algunas fotografías, de Prego café, una nueva cafetería que conocí por casualidad, pero que me dejo enamorada, gracias al hermoso diseño de su interior.
El día de ayer, fue un día lleno de trámites y papeleo, nada divertido, para serles sincera, pero ya era tiempo de solucionar este asunto pendiente que tenía desde el 2022, el cual me estaba quitando el sueño y es que aún no había sido posible inscribir mi título universitario, ante el registro público, el cual es un requisito necesario para legalizarlo y para obtener mi carnet del Colegio de Ingenieros de Venezuela.
Cuando llegue al registro público, me indicaron cuál era el protocolo a seguir y me recomendaron esta bonita cafetería, me dijeron que aquí recibiría toda la asesoría, ya que son expertos en todo ese proceso, de esta forma, evitaría errores y sería menos tedioso para mí.
Cuando me dijeron esto, solo imagine, un sitio común lleno de papeles y fotocopiadoras con alguna máquina dispensadora de café. La cafetería queda justo al lado del registro público, en la Av. 2 Lora, al finalizar el Viaducto Miranda, en la Ciudad de Mérida. Está ubicado en lugar bastante céntrico y de fácil acceso, al entrar, me encontré con un lugar muy agradable, con decoración atractiva, que te hace pensar que es el lugar adecuado para degustar un rico desayuno tradicional.
In gastronomic establishments, architecture and design play a role as important as the food or beverages offered by the place. It is very gratifying that the place you choose to enjoy a cup of coffee or a delicious lunch is visually attractive, neat and functional. When I entered Prego Café, I felt that sensation of comfort, the range of colors chosen in its decoration is pleasant, even relaxing. I liked the combination of beige and white, with all the wooden decorative elements, the color of the floor and the contrast with the green, which brought freshness to the place.
The place is small with only one room, at the back you can see the kitchen and to the right, a small shelf where they take photocopies and manage paperwork, the owners saw a great opportunity, being next to this institution and they made the most of it, not only offer a support service in terms of paperwork, They also offer various coffee and breakfast options, including a lunch menu, and optimized the space in a functional and comfortable way, using simple wooden furniture, but with a sober, elegant design that contrasts with all the decorative elements on the walls and ceiling.
En los locales gastronómicos, la arquitectura y el diseño, juegan un papel tan importante como la comida o bebidas que ofrezca el lugar. Es muy gratificante, que el lugar que uno elige para disfrutar de una rica taza de café o un delicioso almuerzo, sea atractivo visualmente, sea pulcro y funcional. Cuando entre a Prego Café, sentí esa sensación de confort, la gama de colores elegida en su decoración es agradable, incluso relajante. Me gusto la combinación de beige y blanco, con todos los elementos decorativos de madera, el color del piso y ese contraste con el verde, que aportaba frescura al lugar.
El local es pequeño con un solo ambiente, al fondo se puede visualizar la cocina y a la derecha, un pequeño estante donde se encargan de sacar fotocopias y gestionar trámites, sus dueños vieron una gran oportunidad, al estar al lado de esta institución y le sacaron el mayor provecho posible, no solo ofrecen un servicio de apoyo en cuanto al papeleo, sino que además ofrecen diversas opciones de café y desayunos, incluyendo un menú para el almuerzo y optimizaron el espacio de una forma funcional y cómoda, usando muebles de madera sencillos, pero con un diseño sobrio, elegante, que contrasta con todos los elementos decorativos, presentes en las paredes y en el techo.
The first thing that stole my attention was the lighting, they have three types of lamps, with a beautiful design, those located on the ceiling, are my favorite because although it is not very noticeable in the photos, has in the bulb, beautiful figures of butterflies that give a touch of romanticism, I also loved that wooden trellis, covered with green leaves, because it gives a rustic and natural impression, which as I said before, gives that feeling of freshness to the place. On the other hand, on the walls, the lamps resemble a cage, with beautiful golden details. The lighting, in general, is quite good and enhances the rest of the decoration.
Lo primero, que robo mi atención, fue la iluminación, tienen tres tipos de lámparas, con un hermoso diseño, las ubicadas en el techo, son mis favoritas porque aunque no sea muy notable en las fotos, tiene en el bombillo, bonitas figuras de mariposas que le dan un toque de romanticismo, además me encanto, ese enrejado de madera, cubierto de hojas verdes, porque que da una impresión rústica y natural, que como dije anteriormente, da esa sensación de frescura al lugar. Por otro lado, en sus paredes, las lámparas se asemejan a una jaula, con hermosos detalles dorados. La iluminación, en general, es bastante buena y realza el resto de la decoración.
Another thing that I really liked was the central decoration, made with artificial grass and four artificial flower arrangements that frame the logo of the cafe, which has LED lights around it, in the shape of a coffee pot. I have noticed, in recent months, that using this type of grass in the decoration of the walls of restaurants, stores and offices, has become a trend in interior decoration, accompanied by the incorporation of natural plants in hanging bamboo containers, I think this type of decoration is very nice and I like to incorporate these types of elements that create a cozy atmosphere and that connects you in one way or another with nature.
Otra de las cosas que me gusto bastante, fue la decoración central, realizada con grama artificial y cuatro arreglos de flores artificiales que enmarcan el logo del café, el cual tiene en su contorno luces led, en forma de una cafetera. He notado, en los últimos meses, que usar este tipo de grama en la decoración de paredes de restaurantes, tiendas comerciales y oficinas, se ha vuelto una tendencia en la decoración de interiores, acompañadas de la incorporación, de plantas naturales, en materos colgantes de bambú, me parece, muy bonita este tipo de decoración y me gusta que se incorporen estos tipos de elementos que crean un ambiente acogedor y que te conecta de una u otra forma con la naturaleza.
On the other hand, we have the outstanding frames, where there is a gallery of pictures and photographs, related to coffee, with small ornamental plants that complement the whole design. I really enjoyed this area while waiting.
Por otro lado, tenemos los marcos sobresalientes, donde se encuentran una galería de cuadros y fotografías, relacionadas al café, con pequeñas plantas ornamentales que complementan todo el diseño. Disfrute mucho esta área, mientras esperaba.
Definitely, my experience in the cafeteria was quite pleasant, the service is excellent, from the moment you arrive you feel well received, they make you feel confident, because there is a very pleasant atmosphere. While waiting for my documents, I not only enjoyed a very cozy architectural design, with a warm and beautiful decoration, but also took the opportunity to enjoy a delicious traditional Venezuelan breakfast with a cup of coffee, which filled me with energy to continue my day.
Definitivamente, mi experiencia en la cafetería fue bastante grata, la atención es excelente, desde que llegas te sientes bien recibido, te hacen sentir en confianza, porque se respira un ambiente muy agradable. Mientras esperaba, por mis documentos, no solo disfrute de un diseño arquitectónico bastante acogedor, con una decoración cálida y hermosa, sino que también, aproveche de degustar de un rico desayuno tradicional venezolano junto a una taza de café, que me llenó de energía para continuar mi día.
