Greetings to all dear friends of Hive! As I have already mentioned in previous posts, Buenos Aires is a city characterized by its architecture coming from different European countries in terms of materials and styles especially French architecture, which is why many of its streets and avenues are adorned with buildings with this type of facade and appearances, so it is said to be the France of Latin America, and rightly so.
Today I want to share with you one of the most beautiful works of the city and that harbors a mystery. The round house, located in what is known as Palermo chico in an area called Barrio Parque, is a building that was built in 1922 under the art nouveau style and under the work of the architect Mario Palanti, who was the author of the emblematic work of the Barolo palace, building to which I dedicated a post earlier.

Cómo ya he mencionado en post anteriores, Buenos Aires es una ciudad caracterizada por su arquitectura proveniente de distintos países de Europa en cuanto a materiales y estilos en especial a la arquitectura francesa, es por ello que muchas de sus calles y avenidas están adornadas con edificios con este tipo de fachada y apariencias, por ello se dice que es la Francia de Latinoamérica, y con razón.
Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una de las obras más bellas de la ciudad y que alberga un misterio. La casa redonda, ubicada en lo que se conoce como Palermo chico en una zona llamada Barrio Parque, es un edificio que fue construido en el año 1922 bajo el estilo art nouveau y bajo el trabajo del arquitecto Mario Palanti, quién fué el autor de la emblemática obra del palacio de Barolo, edificio al cual dedique un post anteriormente.
This building is a mystery as to its owner because over the years it has passed through many owners and now it is unknown to whom it belongs and what is its current use, its gates always remain closed and it is located in a corner that seems to be hidden. However, in the past it is known that it was used as the headquarters of the Iranian embassy but it was until 1980, it is also known that it was used as an art gallery, besides this no more information is known.
It is a work worthy of admiration for its aesthetics and architecture. The details that are embodied in the gates in relief are amazing and according to people the characters found in this gate are alluding to the protagonist and the author of the divine comedy, being possible that the Barolo palace built by the same architect in a building focused entirely on this work of Dante Alighieri.
Este edificio es un misterio en cuanto a su propietario ya que a través de los años pasó por muchos dueños y ahora se desconoce a quien le pertenece y tampoco cuál es su uso actual, sus portones siempre permanecen cerrados y está ubicado en una esquina que pareciera estar escondida. Sin embargo, en el pasado se conoce que fue utilizado como sede de la embajada de Irán pero fue hasta el año 1980, también se conoce que funcionó una galería de arte, además de esto no se conoce más información.
Es una obra digna de admirar por su estética y arquitectura. Los detalles que se encuentran plasmados en los portones en forma de relieve son asombroso y según personas los personajes que se encuentran en este portón son alusión a la protagonista y el autor de la divina comedia, siendo posible ya que el palacio de Barolo construido por el mismo arquitecto en un edificio enfocado totalmente en esta obra de Dante Alighieri.
The tower is approximately 800 meters high, has two floors and a tower. Rumors say that the artist Mario Palanti built this work for the Fevre family who owned the Chrysler dealership and that the owner could watch over his company from the tower of the building since they were in the vicinity, but these are only rumors. It is also said that the current owner is on the outside, still keeping his identity unknown.
The photographs I took of this architectural gem were half with my Moto G9 Plus smartphone with which I had to use the wide-angle mode for certain shots or perspectives, the other half of the photos were taken with a Sony a350 mirrorless camera. At the time of capturing these images was somewhat complicated by the location of the house, it is located on a corner but not on a main avenue but in an area where many cars pass through and it was something fast for this.
Most people who are attracted to architecture in the country as well as professional and amateur photographers are pleased at least to admire and capture images of the exterior of this beautiful work, hoping like me that someday they open their doors to know the interior that I guess must be sublime, shocking and I'm sure it would leave many of us with our mouths open.
I want to emphasize that my tastes and attractions for architecture are especially attributed to this great community because from it I immersed myself in this world of beauty and details which I did not know, in this way I thank @storiesoferne for the creation of this space that allows us to learn and appreciate the architectural works of different parts of the world. La torre cuenta con aproximadamente 800 metros de altura, dos plantas y una torre. Los rumores dicen que el artista Mario Palanti realizó la construcción de esta obra para la familia Fevre quiénes eran dueños de la consecionaria Chrysler y que el dueño desde la torre del edificio podía vigilar su empresa ya que estaban en las cercanías, pero son solo rumores. También se dice que el propietario actual se encuentra en el exterior, aún manteniendo en incógnita su identidad.
Las fotografías que tomé de esta joya arquitectónica fueron en mitad con mi smartphone Moto G9 Plus con el que tuve que utilizar el modo gran angular para ciertas tomas o perspectivas, la otra mitad de las fotos las tomé con una camara Sony a350 mirrorless. Al momento de capturar éstas imágenes fue algo complicado por la ubicación de la casa, se encuentra en una esquina pero no en avenida principal sino en una zona en dónde transitan muchos autos y fue algo rápido por esto.
La mayoría de las personas que sienten atracción hacia la arquitectura en el país así como también fotógrafos profesionales y aficionados se complacen al menos en admirar y capturar imágenes del exterior de esta hermosa obra, esperando al igual que yo que algún día abran sus puertas para así conocer el interior que supongo debe ser sublime, impactante y estoy seguro que nos dejaría con la boca abierta a muchos.
Quiero destacar que mis gustos y atracciones por la arquitectura se atribuyen especialmente a ésta grandiosa comunidad ya que a partir de ella me sumergí en este mundo de belleza y detalles el cual desconocía, de esta forma agradezco a @storiesoferne por la creación de este espacio que nos permite aprender y apreciar las obras arquitectónicas de diferentes partes del mundo.
