Who would have thought that Korean culinary is famous all over the world because it is captivating from several scenes in Korean dramas. Seeing some appetizing acting, even if it's just sipping Jjangmyeon and drinking a sip of soju, it makes people sympathize and want to do it. I guess that's one of the great ways of advertising in a drama.
Korean food has started to mushroom all over the world, in fact in Indonesia, many restaurants or street food have started selling Korean food-style menus. I used to know tteobokki, now there are many restaurants selling all menus of Korean food such as Jjangmyeon, Bibimbap, Kimbab, Mujigae and many more.
Not only serving all menu Korean food, there are also several restaurants that attract customers with unique design and architecture, to make it look like they are in real Korea. That's why so many young people who love Kpop or Kdrama are interested in trying it, it's really a promising marketing.
Seeing this restaurant from social media, of course social media is the most popular marketing bridge lately, I'm interested and really want to try eating at this Korean food restaurant. Heart Seoul, which is located on Jl Mojopahit, is in the middle of Medan city, this restaurant used to only provide delivery that started in 2019, but over time, Heart Seoul built their business gradually to build a promising restaurant.
It is because of society's interest and enthusiasm for Korean food that they dare to create a restaurant where you can dine in to enjoy Korean food. Even though Korean food is now loved by society, this is not an easy thing, because Korean food is not used to the tongue of Indonesians, so it is not easy to build this business without thinking about the future.
This restaurant is located in one of the small shophouses on Jl Mojopahit, Medan people will surely know that Jl Mojopahit is located on a busy small street, because this road is very famous because there is a very famous Medan souvenir brand. So it's not difficult to find this restaurant even though it's in a small shop. In front of the restaurant is clearly written a banner 'Heart Seoul'.
With an attractive design from the front of the restaurant, we will be very interest in this restaurant. The front door looks like a house, with a brown door with clean and shiny glass. Greeted friendly by employees who will take you to an available table. This restaurant is colorfull and very cheerful, the color blocks are in harmony with some complex interior designs.
We can feel the concept that refers to the strength of the lights in this restaurant, some of which are very strong with LED neon sign accessories on several walls and corners of the room as shown below, especially in the toilet and sink areas that catch our attention. The red LED neon sign that reads 'love yourself' is truly amazing.
Several other accessories refer to a number of neatly arranged papers and affixed to several strategically placed walls that add to the beauty of the interior design of this restaurant, some of which are inscribed with Hangeul writing which is a strong characteristic of 'Korean', the totality of the interior for young people is very promising visually.
This restaurant really presents a strong impression on Korea, not only in terms of food but beautiful visuals. I'm lucky to be able to sit and enjoy good Korean food here. Ordered Jjangmyeon and Bibimbap which tasted very thick with a Korean taste, even though there is a bit of Indonesian flavor so that many people can enjoy it.
I think this restaurant is perfect for young people who really love Korean culture and can be attached to it. Because the ambiance here feels really like being in Korea, so enjoying a bowl of Jjangmyeon with K-pop vibes and music is an extraordinary experience.
