I hope you all are well and enjoying your day. We, the Muslim celebrate a cultural festival, which is basically Eid ul adha . It is a very special day for all muslims.
Today, I will just talk about women or girl's celebration on Eid. Muslim women wear beautiful clothes and beautiful jewellery. The little girls look so beautiful because their moms make them Princesses. Their moms style their hair and give them beautiful clothes to wear. Then, after all makeup their uncles and aunts and even their parents, and the persons that are older than, give Eidi to them. At that point, these princesses look so beautiful. The most beautiful thing that women do is to make beautiful designs on their hands with mehndi.🫠
Some of them put mehndi on their hands by themselves, but some of them asked other women to put mehndi on their hands because they don't know how to make designs with mehndi. They do this on the previous day of Eid, because it is a cultural practice among them. After this, these women also buy bangles of different colours not only for themselves but also for their little princess.
These little girls look so pretty after all the makeup. They also wear cultural clothes, which are salwar and Kameez.
On this occasion, all the Muslims also sacrifice animals that are halal in Islam (goat, cow, camel, buffalo etc). This occasion has much significance because at the same time Haji are also performing Pilgrimages. Basically, it is a great gathering of Muslims in Mecca. This occasion brings happiness to all Muslims. It is a great blessing of Allah.
On this occasion, special guests like uncles and aunts also come to each other's home, and they make meat ( the animal that they sacrifice) for the guests. They enjoy their meals. On gathering, they show their love and affection for each other. Today, my uncle, aunt and their little princess also come in our home, and we made dinner for them. They said that this is very delicious because we cooked it according to our cultural way. My little cousins were looking so beautiful. I took some pics of them.
After all of these activities, we also went to a park in the evening. It was a wonderful experience. This big occasion comes after 1 year. It was a day worth remembering. I miss it a lot.😌
