Waiting in Lovina Beach

As I walked through the hotel lobby, which is set on higher ground, I looked down toward the restaurant and swimming pool below. Beyond the pool, I could see the beach, with pavilions scattered among the gardens and hotel rooms throughout the lush greenery.

The hotel lobby itself is built on solid concrete, featuring intricate Balinese carvings and beautiful Balinese architecture in the main area. It was truly stunning.

In one lobby corner, there was a trainee at the reception . She smiled and spoke English very well. She mentioned the name of her college where she attended the hositality course somewhere in North Bali. I forgot the name tough.

After passing the reception, I took the stairs down and noticed vibrant bougainvillea flowers blooming along the sides. As I walked through the hotel garden, I saw the restaurants—one of them an open-air building designed similarly to the lobby. Then, there were the swimming pools with their sparkling blue water, looking especially beautiful in the morning light.

I walked past the restaurants and finally reached the beach around seven in the morning. The black sandy shore was dotted with a few colorful parker boats. A few people were around, and some kids were playing on the beach, likely searching for shells. I stood there, just taking it all in.

I waited for my clients as their boat slowly approached the shore. I saw them returning from their morning dolphin-watching tour.

When I met them, they seemed really happy. They told me they had seen dolphins jumping near the boats and appreciated that I came to meet them that morning. Their plan was to relax for the rest of the afternoon.

I excused myself and made my way back to the lobby. The day was getting hotter, as it's October, one of the hotter months.

I met up with my friend, the driver, who was already waiting in the lobby of Puri Bagus Lovina. After that, I headed back to my small hotel nearby to enjoy the rest of the day. It was a pleasant day for me.
