#15 - "A Day of Achievement: Our Final Project" [ENG-ESP]

Greetings dear friends of Hive, the mood in the group is much better and every week is less and less for the final delivery that we are so anxious, on the one hand, we want all this to end up reaching the day and overcome it successfully, but surely when this happens we will miss the process and the days of getting together to work.

Saludos queridísimos amigos de Hive, los ánimos en el grupo están mucho mejor y cada semana falta menos para la entrega final que tanto ansiamos, por un lado, queremos que todo esto termine llegar al día y superarlo con éxito, pero seguramente cuando esto ocurra vamos a extrañar el proceso y los días de juntarnos a trabajar.

On this occasion for example, we got together to think about the air extraction system, in previous weeks I had been thinking about it without achieving the result we needed, so after giving up I decided to do this task together with another colleague because two heads think better than one and after many versions and reversions (if I remember correctly more than 13 or 15 variants) we got one that convinced us, both in terms of manufacturing, functionality and morphology, so it was time to do the tests.

En esta ocasión por ejemplo, nos juntamos para pensar en el sistema de extracción de aire, en semanas anteriores yo estuve dándole vueltas al tema sin lograr el resultado que necesitábamos, así que tras rendirme decidí realizar esta tarea junto con otro compañero ya que dos cabezas piensan más que una y luego de muchas versiones y reversiones (Si mal no recuerdo más de 13 o 15 variantes) obtuvimos una que nos convencía, tanto en forma de fabricación, como en funcionalidad y morfología así que tocaba hacer las pruebas.

Thanks to a function in SolidWorks we were able to test the air flow inside our part, we placed the constants such as speed, particles to move, densities, among others that I do not remember; we waited a while for the program to make the calculations and we got the results, what you can see in these images is the air inlet and the point where it increases its flow velocity, we checked some values and we were satisfied with the result, now we had information that validated our idea.

Gracias a una función en SolidWorks nos fue posible probar el flujo de aire dentro de nuestra pieza, colocamos las constantes como velocidad, partículas a mover, densidades, entre otras que no recuerdo; esperamos un rato a que el programa hiciera los cálculos y obtuvimos los resultados, lo que pueden ver en estas imágenes es el ingreso del aire y el punto donde este aumenta su velocidad de flujo verificamos algunos valores y nos quedamos a gusto con el resultado ahora teníamos información que validaba nuestra idea.

While we were doing this we also tested the heating resistor, we wanted to see how long it could heat an enclosed space and get an idea of what was the required temperature, the tests we did were very basic, but they helped us a lot to give us an approximate idea when we had to program it in Arduino. At lunch time we took some time to rest and a friend of mine started playing Fall guys on my partner's PC (always remember to take some time to clear your mind and be able to resume with all your projects).

A la vez que hacíamos esto también hicimos pruebas con la resistencia calefactora, queríamos ver en cuanto tiempo podía calentar un espacio cerrado y tener una idea de cual era la temperatura requerida, las pruebas que hicimos fueron muy básicas, pero nos ayudaron un montón a darnos una idea aproximada a la hora de tener que programarlo en Arduino. A la hora de almorzar nos tomamos un rato para descansar y un amigo se puso a jugar al Fall guys en la PC de mi compañera (Recuerden siempre tomarse un rato para despejar la mente y poder retomar con todos sus proyectos).

In this opportunity we advanced a lot, both with ideas to solve problems and with tests to validate the air extraction or the temperature of the resistance, in total we will have spent about 8 hours at my partner's house, but thanks to this hard work we had more advanced the project. What did you think of these huge advances? We still need to give a little more dedication to the ventilation system, but compared to before it is much better, we still have some problems when it comes to fixing the pieces of this system but nothing that with a little dedication will not be solved, thanks again for being here, I'm Nitsu and we are reading each other.

En esta oportunidad de avanzo mucho, tanto con ideas para solucionar problemas como con pruebas para validar la extracción de aire o la temperatura de la resistencia, en total habremos estado unas 8 horas en la casa de mi compañera, pero gracias a este arduo trabajo teníamos más adelantado el proyecto. ¿Qué les parecieron estos enormes avances? Aun falta darle un poco más de dedicación al sistema de ventilación, pero comparado con antes esta muchísimo mejor, aun tenemos algunos problemas a la hora de fijar entre si las piezas de este sistema pero nada que con un poco de dedicación no se resuelva, gracias nuevamente por estar aquí, soy Nitsu y nos estamos leyendo.
